It has been over a year since we have had a fresh look on the website. So I changed the layout a bit and made it more user friendly. My priority was to make the site crazy fast and believe I was able to accomplish this after adapting new methods and keeping it simple. Don’t forget to wrap the macros in the forums with the code button!

Enjoy the clean design and it should be faster than before.
Please report any bugs.

Due to the changes of the last few patches since the expansion came out, I have been contemplating to do some changes to the style of the macros. I will do my best to keep them as short and easy to follow as possible, but sometimes it is not feasible due to all these new changes to cram it into the limit of 255 characters that the macro interface offers.

So I decided to start using more macro extender add-ons, whenever a short version cannot be created and will provide a longer version when available. There are a few macro extender add-ons out there, but the one that the community recommends and I’m familiar with is Macro Toolkit, which you can find in Curse.com. Here is a guide that a member from the site put together to get the add-on up and running. (Link)

Also would like to thank Captivation Li for providing a method that I thought it was gone from the game, but he told us about the workarounds.

I will do my best to create and revise as many macros as I can before college starts again on this upcoming semester, because it seems it will be pretty busy again.

Thanks to all the members, couldn’t do it without you guys.

Let the macros begin!

Wow, 1 year has passed! I hope everyone likes all the new changes to the website. My main focus is improving readability and functionality, making it easier to navigate within the site. I’m still looking forward to the new expansion Mists of Pandaria. Many new exciting things are in the making. Sorry for being away for a few months, but was a tough semester in college and had to catch up with real life during the summer and still not done yet . So bare with me for more updates on the macros for all the classes as I get time to work on them. Thanks to everyone that has been cooperating while I been gone and for email suggestions.

Hopefully the new changes on the site that are implemented would not require too many bug fixes, will be working on it through the week.

Finally the weekend is here! So I promised in the forums to give this lazy macro for fire mages a look once I have some time off from school (usually weekends) because I was swarmed in projects for college and due dates everywhere. Next week more of the same… I did spent a few hours testing and putting together this macro with my friend’s mage that is fairly well geared. There are some pros and cons of this spec that made it very difficult to work around the spells.
First off there is a bug if you try to put “Pyroblast” in a castsequence and is fired with the instant cast proc from the Hot Streak, it will get locked in the sequence and if used as a modifier sequence it won’t count as a sequence spell. Weird isn’t it? It will try to cast it again because the instant proc for some reason is not valid for the sequence but still uses it… I know there is a difference between the 2 Pyroblasts and they are identified by an exclamation point “!” at the end for the instant Pyro. This was a bit of a headache, making it more interesting and difficult at the same time.
So I start fighting with the macro, relocating spells, testing all kinds of sequences, new lines, modifier combinations and finally something came out after back and forth for a couple of hours…
The fire spec is very gear dependent and for Crit the dependency is even bigger, making it difficult to test because waiting for Hot Streak to proc sometimes takes a bit longer.
As long as you have the right gear, spec, reforge, gems, etc. The macro should work great as long you get Hot Streak procs several times per minute. The macro works best when is spammed, just don’t break your fingers please. Here are the changes I did and improvements:

Pyroblast now is integrated inside the macro to be fired as soon as possible only when the instant proc is on.
Combustion was removed from the cooldowns sequence and it is now a modifier. Only use the modifier (Combustion) whenever there is 2 or 3 DoT’s in the target and is not going to die soon, otherwise is a waste of a cooldown.
Other cooldowns like Flame Orb will be casted in between Hot Streaks so it all depends on how much crit you have.

And finally I included translations for 5 client languages. This update will be included in the next version of the add-on plugin, but for now you can find it here at the forums. I hope everyone enjoys it and let me know what you think.
/fire Pew Pew!

Between school, vacation and the illness I just recover from, I finally have been able to work on some needed updates and have included a few new macros to the site and the add-on plugin.
The site has some new social features for people that register or “connect with” and these can be found at the top of the site once you are logged in. Now you can update your profile, avatars, create groups and even have private conversations with other members from WoW Lazy Macros.
I have been browsing the net trying to put together macros to create a database and most websites that I found for macros in WoW are abandoned and have not been updated since a few expansions ago. It is sad that some of them do not offer anything but links to products they are trying to sell.
I will be adding some macros that some of you already have been using for quite some time, but some people might not have them yet and they probably would benefit from them. Youtube videos are also in the making for demonstration purposes.

I would like to thank everyone for sharing this website with friends, family and guildmates.
Click the “Like” or “share” buttons so other people can benefit also from this site.

The following are changes to the add-on plugin:

r10
- Elemental Shaman: Replaced Fire Nova with Chain Lightning for the modifier, Chain Lightning is the primary AoE.
- Combat Rogue: Included the new Combat Multiple Modifiers lazy macro.
- Protection Paladin: Included the new Protection 2 Buttons lazy macro version.
- Priest: Included Multi-form buffs and Multi-Dot macros.
- Unholy Death Knight: Removed Death Strike from the castsequence for a better rotation and increase in DPS. Also added Empower Rune Weapon and “/use” for the upper trinket slot.
- Changed TOC to current patch and plugin version.

I have been very busy with university projects, but the next week of December is my finals week and therefore will be more time available for me to work in new plans for the site.
I will be testing all the classes specs and updating any macros if they are necessary to make them work properly with this new patch. If any issues with the macros arise, please report them in our forums.

With the upcoming next expansion Mists of Pandaria, WoW Lazy Macros is looking forward to the creation of the new macros. There will be thousands of combinations with the new talent system. Did I say thousands?
With Blizzard offering the Annual Pass that includes a guarantee spot in the beta testing of Mists of Pandaria, I will be able to start working on the macros and hopefully they will be finished by the time the expansion goes live.
Roughly there will be 720 combinations of talents per class, equals to 7920 including the new Monk class. Not all the talents include new abilities, but they might modify some spells in a way that makes them unique and almost create a new spell itself.
There are a few plans that I have in mind on how to give to the community my lazy macros for Pandaria, but as it gets closer to the release I will try to provide this tool as a beta.
I will be creating a poll so you guys can vote for the class that I should start to work with macros in Pandaria.
Vote for your favorite!
