I’ve read a few threads and I see people saying “I use your macro and my dps went up 50k.” or “man that macro works great”.
What I’m trying to understand is under what circumstances do these macros actually work. My ping is 300ms and I have adjusted the reset=0.5 value from 0.3 to 0.9 with very little to no change.
Take this:
/castsequence reset=0.5 0,0,0,0,0,Breath of Fire
/castsequence reset=0.5 0,0,0,0,Guard
/castsequence reset=0.5 0,0,0,Keg Smash
/castsequence reset=0.5 0,0,!Spinning Crane Kick
/castsequence reset=0.5 0,Rushing Jade Wind
/cast Elusive Brew
/cast Fortifying Brew
/use 13
/use 14
/startattack
Now my understanding is Breath of fire should fire off, followed by Guard, Keg Smash and so on once I have enough combo points. I can sit there on 5 points and it not do anything.
What seems to happen is the trinkets fire off and it mostly just Spinning Crane Kick over and over again. At times guard or Breath of fire will fire off but if this is supposed to be a rotation how do I get it to work?
