What is up my macro family. Let me know what you think of this 1 button disc priest raid healing macro. Itll target for you or you can pick the target. It’s good to still call Spirit shell whenever you can and cast Prayer of Healing. But you don’t have to.
Ok this one doesnt even need a super duper macro length. I am a boxer so to maximize my output i found various macros and added to them and made this one. Try it out im only lvl 51 on my toons atm. When in a dungeon i never heal using healing spells i let the damage do the healing. Might change later on but for now its awesome.
I tried your macro out a few times. I like the idea of it. Right not it eats my mana hard but im ilvl 490 so its probly a gear thing. it was eating my friend mana as well and she is ilvl 540+. Regardless I took out pain suppression because it casts right off the bat. and u dont want ur tank losing threat at start. I took out spirit shell as well but u mentioned that in OP.
#showtooltip Solace and Insanity
/targetenemy [dead][noharm][noexists]
/castsequence [nochanneling]reset=0.3 0,0,0,smite
/castsequence [nochanneling]reset=0.3 0,0,power word: Solace
/castsequence [nochanneling]reset=0.3 0, penance
/castsequence [@targettarget,help,nodead][@player] reset=5 Power Word: Shield,Prayer of Mending
/cast [nochanneling]Archangel
As side note, im not using Holy Fire but Power Word: Solace for more smart healing, and i didnt included Halo/Divine Star/Cascade because i like to have it on a separate button, but you can sure add it at top, over Smite
What it does:
Cast PW: Shield on CD on the targetoftarget (aka tank or who got aggro)
Cast Prayer of Mending on CD on the targetoftarget (aka tank or who got aggro)
-Cast Penance on CD on the enemy target
-Cast Power Word solace on CD on the enemy target
-Spam Smite when everything else is on CD
-Cast Archangel on CD
THANK YOU FOR YOUR MACROS!. I’ve tested your macros in LFR, I’ve noticed that the penance does not fire as much. My gears are timeless gears with boosted trinkets & I’m 4th on the healing chart. TY
