I’ve found this to be much more effective than what I was doing previously.
Talents: 1132131
Maj Glyphs: Explosive Trap, Animal Bond, Chimaera Shot
Min Glyphs: Revive Pet, Play Dead, Aspect of the Cheetah
Pet: Wolf (for the crit buff)
I took me an hour or two of playing with how /castsequence worked (I was terribly ignorant before), but I think I have this figured out. I have tested this on dummies, random BGs, Ashran and a couple duels. I don’t ever seem to run out of focus, and for the 36 seconds or so that this takes to get through all the unique castsequence combinations, I can 100% count on casting 3 Chimaera Shot, 2 Barrage, 4 Aimed Shot and 9 Steady Shot. With the little PvE I do, DPS has gone up by like 5k as well with this.
Sequences['MMHunterDPS'] = {
PreMacro = [[
/use [@pet,dead] Revive Pet
/use [nopet,nomod]Call Pet 1
/use [combat] Draenic Agility Potion
/cast [@focus,help][help][@pet,exists] Misdirection
/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/cast [combat] Rapid Fire
]],
'/cast A Murder of Crows',
'/cast Dire Beast',
'/castsequence [nochanneling] Chimaera Shot,Steady Shot',
'/castsequence [nochanneling] Steady Shot,Steady Shot,Steady Shot',
'/castsequence [nochanneling] Barrage,Aimed Shot,Aimed Shot',
'/cast [nochanneling] Kill Shot',
PostMacro = [[
/startattack
/use [combat]13
/cast [combat] Kill Shot
]],
}
If someone would be so kind as to give this a shot and let me know what you think, I would greatly appreciate it.
