I have been trying to write a macro which copes with both Lunar and Solar. I think I have managed to write one that works sort of for both, but before that I had one for each mode (you’ll see those also below).
This is my Macro’s when having two; one for Solar and one for Lunar.
Lunar:
#showtooltip Starfire
/cast [noform] !Moonkin Form
/targetenemy [noharm,dead]
/castsequence reset=8/target Moonfire,Null
/castsequence Starfire;[mod:alt] Wrath
/castsequence reset=10 Starfall
/castsequence reset=41 Moonfire
Solar:
#showtooltip Wrath
/cast [noform] !Moonkin Form
/targetenemy [noharm,dead]
/castsequence reset=8/target Sunfire,Null
/castsequence Wrath;[mod:alt]Starfire
/castsequence reset=10 Starsurge
/castsequence reset=41 Sunfire
/cast Celestial Alignment
I decided to skip Starsurge when doing Lunar and only do that when Solar, and despite what I would have believed, including Starfall when Lunar actually improved my DPS even on single target.
Here is my Macro when I have one that handles both modes (Lunar and Solar):
/cast [noform] !Moonkin Form
/targetenemy [noharm,dead]
/castsequence reset=8/target Moonfire,Sunfire,Null
/castsequence [modifier:alt] Wrath; Starfire
/castsequence reset=10 Starsurge
/castsequence Celestial Alignment
This will also require you do re-dot manually on the same target
(new target will automatically dot), which shouldn't be a problem.
I also have created one that casts rejuvenation on myself, which can come in handy sometimes.
/castsequence [@player] reset=12 Rejuvenation,null
This can only be thrown again when button haven’t been used for 12 sec (how long my Rejuvenation last’s)
