New GS-E help copying macros?!?

Before I would go into GS-Core and then sequences.lua and just paste someone’s macro from this site into it. Now it’s not working! I searched around a bit and downloaded the GS-myMacros folder or w/e, went into the Monk.lua and pasted the monk macro I’m copying there, still nothing comes up in game after logging / reloading etc. Is something new going on? Sequences.lua is no longer there, I’ve even reinstalled GS-E. Thanks.

In game type /gsse paste in the monk macro into the middle and go Import. You could copy every sequence from your Sequence.lua file and paste them all in one hit.

If this is not appearing i would check that GS-myMacros is located at c:\path\to\world of warcraft\interface\addons\GS-myMacros It needs to be seperate from GS-Core.

With the changes to allow for total ingame editing I couldnt maintain the Sequence.lua file of old GS. There were a thousand things that just wouldnt play. The detail of this is located at

For some reason “GS-myMacros” doesnt even appear in any of the folders when I updated? version 1.3.7

I have added you on bnet. Is there any way I can get an older version of the addon where you just copy and paste the .lua, it is much easier and less confusing then this new update.

GS-myMacros is a seperate mod. If you havnt installed it manually you wont have it.

I figured it out, I am an idiot!

Thank-you though.

In regards to copying macros. When I copy macros from the new code boxes and paste them into my editor (Notepad++ or Notepad) there is now a space between every line. I am not sure how to prevent this, any suggestions? The old code boxes did not give me this problem.

Strange. I found that this is only an issue when using IE 11 and does not happen when using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Is anyone else seeing this issue when using IE 11 and copying macros from the web code boxes and pasting them and having a space between each line?
