Hey. I have problems importing macro to gse. When i keybind i se alot of alternativs that are ticked. I press import but nothin happens. When i try to keybind i se “Restoration” but there is nothing to keybind in the scrolldown menu. What am i doing wrong?
Can you verify that you’re using the most up-to-date version of GSE and try using the import string I recently updated
Now it works and i can choose to keybind, dunno what i did diffrent this time. But i cant bind alt,shift or ctrl, gse dosent let me use those buttons, nothing happens when i try to assign any of those. Other keybindings work.
Okey, i have watched your videos about keybinging and now i understand. I didnt know that u cant keybind alt,shift,ctrl directly. Yes im a noob i will give it a try now.
Hey, i followed your instructions how to install and keybind. I use numpad+ on my razer mouse as you. Weak auras insralled aswell. I am in a follower dungeon and the only thing that works is shift combo with riptide and healing rain, no shields with ctrl or anything else with alt or shift combo. Everything is bind as you did in video. What am i doing wrong or have missed?

I do not have them in /macro menu. I made new macros for each macro but that did nothing either. Did i do something wrong?
Double check that you named them correctly, without [ or ].

Also double check that the macros are created in your character specific macros (not general macros).
I did remove the [ and ]. And had my macros in specific char folder. It did nothing. I think im going to wait closer to release of expansion and wait for a macro that i can figure out. I think this macro editing is more than my experience can handle .

The reason that we need to use the in-game macros is that the ‘behind the scences’ changes that came with TWW made us unable to use
/castsequence resets in the GSE import itself.
So if a creator wants to make a macro to ‘reset’ with a target swap, starting or ending combat, or with a set number of seconds, they’ll be using the in-game macro feature.
This looks to be for the long term but hopfully the GSE devs can find a work-around

I’m using an addon called ElvUI for the UI. I’m also use Dynamic Cam to change how the camera functions. When designing my UI I always stick with, if it doesn’t need to be on screen, remove it!
With my systems, you don’t need to see your action bars anymore

i also notive there is a sloght delay in the activation of the macro. Basically it need like 0.5 sec to start after coming out of idle. Do you have any idea why?
@N3oNfr3zZ, A dely in spellcasting may be caused by two things,
- Your click speed is not high enough and it’s taking too long to get through a full cycle of the macro
- Flame Shock. Flame Shoch has a very low priority once you’ve already applied it, it is only called upon once pur full cycle of the sequence. This is intentional. It prevents it from being spammed in combat but is still able to be cast on the move (when on the move you can DoT the enemies).
Maybe that’s what you’re noticing?
No click speed the same as you (Razer Synapse), it just feels a bit weird to start, once its going it feels very smooth
is it possible to get a [shift] modifer so that i can choose when to CL and when to use Lightning Bolt? Currently its depending on if your in a group or not
That was a executive decision I had to make for this setup. There we just higher priorities for the other modifiers, both MO and non MO, the abilities are crammed in as it is, with no MO shift being your healing rain, that is an essential ability.
I went in a added a lightning bolt after a few casts of chain lighting. It’ll be slightly lower AoE DPS and slightly higher ST DPS.
I can’t add an “AoE DPS prompt” to the WeaakAura because I can only track things like “X enemy nameplates within X range”. On AoE classes that includes a full 360 scan, not just what’s in front of you.
