The reason I keep them separate is so you can use both in the same instance depending on the situation.
If you are pulling mobs, actively tanking, or expecting heavy boss damage, hold the v2.0 keybind. That keeps Ironfur up consistently while still giving you awesome damage.
If you are in a DPS mechanic phase with low incoming damage, or just cleaning up the last few mobs, hold the OT keybind instead. That one funnels most of your rage into damage.
That’s basically why I kept them as two separate options.
I also realized there isn’t really a need to keep two versions inside v2.0 itself. With a few known conditions, I can merge those into a single version. I’ll include that change in the next update.
Hey there, thank you so much for your work! Im just coming back to WoW and my disability allows me to only use the thumb of my left hand to press buttons. The macro allows me to still play a tank.
gosh this just feels so darn good. I’ve made an off meta choice and spent my sparks to acquire a darkmoon dominion void trinket. When the vers stacks the damage output on druid tanking is silly. You are better off using your sparks next week to make the staff and put the dominion void embellishment on it so your trinket slot can be used for the raid trinkets but Ive always liked the decks.
You can already use the No-Raze version if you prefer. It won’t spend any Rage on Raze/Maul and instead just stacks Ironfur as much as possible.
That said, the normal v2.0 version is working incredibly well. You’ll always maintain at least one Ironfur stack, still get excellent damage from Raze with both hero specs, and it feels extremely tanky.
I’ve already cleared all Mythic dungeons on M0 with it and it felt amazing.
Pure Ironfur setups used to be very strong, but even with Elune’s Chosen I don’t really see a reason to skip Raze anymore, you keep the survivability while gaining a lot of extra damage.
EC does work well right now. You can play it without problems. DotC is just so overtuned right now that it does more damage then some dps specs.
Both are viable right now and can tank amazingly.
EC will come closer with the patch on march 17th.
There is non really if you are talking about click speed.
Most people use programs like X-Button, Razer Synapse or AHK to spam a key or button in a constant manner. I use xbutton to spam my side mouse buttons while holding down every 100ms. That’s what I’ve bound my sequences to.
You can change between them in the config tab. There is a drop down that says ‚Version‘.
If you want to bind both, just copy the sequence by renaming it and saving again. You should have the original and the new named sequence now. You can bin as many sequences as you want to different buttons. So pick version 1 for the first and version 2 for the second sequence and bind them to different buttons!
Tanked my first few m+0 today and I still like DotC. Elunes Choosen feels better overall tho. While DotC spikes in dmg, EC is more streamlined and having lunar beam as a big CD feels nice.
Both Specs are viable and work wonderfully in M+0. Next stop, 3k IO.
