Right now, I’m actively testing and refining both builds.
I’m considering creating a dedicated version for Aldrachi Reaver. The Glaive → Fracture → Cleave sequence is a core part of the rotation, and at the moment Fracture and Cleave can fire in a random order. I’m looking into implementing a version that enforces this combo properly when a proc occurs, giving much better control and consistency.
The situation is similar for Annihilator. I’m currently clearing +13 and +14 keys with both builds without issues, but Soul management still has room for optimization. So far, I haven’t found a clean solution that doesn’t require forcing Soul Bomb as a modifier ability, which would actually be very effective. If testing goes well, I may release three separate versions:
Full Auto (AR / Annihilator)
Manual Soul Bomb (Annihilator)
Manual Glaive Control (Aldrachi Reaver)
For reference: I just completed a +12 and +13 Dawn, +12 on Annihilator and +13 on AR. Both groups had relatively low overall DPS, so damage percentages should be taken with a grain of salt.
Still, performance and survivability felt very solid.
I’ll continue testing and fine-tuning, feedback is always welcome.
Small update: I’ve added Version 2 – Manual Glaive Control (Aldrachi Reaver).
This version moves the Reaper’s Glaive → Fracture → Soul Cleave combo for Aldrachi Reaver to the Alt modifier, giving you full control over the sequence instead of letting it fire automatically. It’s intended for players who want tighter proc control and more precise burst execution, especially in higher keys.
Version 1 (Full Auto) remains unchanged for those who prefer a smoother, more automated rotation.
Im gonna try this. I never have really played a DH before. Im a disabled gamer so sometimes the modifier buttons are difficult. If I were to edit this to place the sigils automatically @player where in the macro would i place them?
I’ld put them after fracture and soul cleave into the loop.
I will add a fully automated version soon as well. Been working on a manual annihilator version at the moment but should be done testing tonight. After that, I’ll add the fully automated version. It won’t be perfect. Fiery brand and sigils are better self casted but it will still work without a problem in +12s most likely.
I’ve expanded the guide, refined the existing versions and added two new versions, bringing the total to four playstyle options depending on how much control vs. automation you prefer.
Version 3 – Manual Bomb Control (Annihilator)
Spirit Bomb is now placed on ALT, giving you full control over Soul Fragment spending. This allows better optimization at high Soul counts and enables immediate re-casts after Metamorphosis for improved Annihilator value.
Version 4 – Full Auto (Annihilator / Aldrachi Reaver)
This version automates nearly all offensive and defensive cooldowns (including Sigils and Fiery Brand). Only hard CC (Misery, Silence, Nova) and Metamorphosis remain manual. Designed for maximum automation and minimal micromanagement.
The original versions (Manual Sigils & Manual Glaive Control) got slightly improved.
As always, feedback is welcome. I’ll continue refining the sequences.
All +14s are done, and I just finished an EDA +15 as well.
At this point, I’m confident in the current Vengeance sequence and will likely keep it as is until Midnight launches. I’ll continue fine-tuning it and keep it updated with any future changes or tuning passes.
Next, I’ll shift my focus back to the Guardian macro. The plan is to push my Druid to around ~3.2k rating before Midnight as well. DH and Druid will be my two main tanks going forward, so both guides will stay actively maintained and optimized.
