No idea why, but some days ago, macro was working like a charm. Today, no key modifier is working. When holding shift key for blizzard or alt or strg, nothing fires and the macro locks up.
Do we just use blizzard when we get a proc and flurry whenever we get procs using the modifiers?
No but in the sequences it has modifier keys for flurry and blizzard just curious when is best to use those?
Ice Lance is on Alt. As soon as you see a Frostfire bolt finish casting, press and hold Alt to shatter. The proc for this is the halo to the left and right of your character, hence there being two.
Flurry should be cast on proc by pressing Ctrl. You’ll see this displayed by the halo directly above your character.
Blizzard is bound to Shift. Cast when you see it proc, of if you’re dropping into a pack. Blizzard doesn’t have a HUD indicator, so use Weakauras or watch your action bar.

For me neither “ALT” or “Ctrl” or “Shift” works when I press when I press “ALT” there is always an arrow that I can turn but nothing else happens but the macro still fires everything independently
Dumb question but obviously for the procs you dont hit the macro simultaneously as you are hitting alt right? Or just hit the proc cast then start spamming macro again? Also, how many enemies minimum usually before you use blizzard? Like 3 minimum targets? Thanks a ton Marcus very helpful.

Keep spamming the macro. So say your Flurry procs, keep spamming your rotation button whilst holding onto Alt and it will fire Flurry. You’ll see the halo disappear and obviously a lot of icicles flying across the screen, so you known its worked.
It’s basically the same as using keyboard shortcuts. Pressing P will type the letter, holding Ctrl+P will paste anything currently in memory.
What key do you have your sequence bound to?

Yeah, normally 3+ just for a bit of extra damage. I’m no hot-shot meta follower though, so I could well be doing it “wrong”, but it works for me.

Not working, today I updated GSE, deleted and reimported your sequence. No Modifier Keys are working.
People should really start giving a little more information. Like, for example, what keys have you assigned to your rotation?
Modifier Keys are not working.
Means you have your modifier keys set to something else in keybinds.
I had to totally reset all my keybindings to default, now all modifier work again.
yup was having issues with modifiers too tried everything . Resetting wow to default keybindings fixed for me too
