Four simple macros that I use with my own weak aura Wago

I put them on adjacent keys, top left for ST Wrath/Starsurge, top right for ST Starfire/Starsurge, bottom left for AOE Wrath/Starfall, bottom right for AOE Starfire/Starfall (left and right to match the icons on the weak auras).

They will not apply dots or use spenders when pressing a modifier (i.e. when not in an eclipse).

The weak aura will glow which is to be pressed (left for wraths, right for starfires), it will also show when dots can be refreshed (icons show) or missing (icons glow), and when your target can be soothed. It also has Kyrian icons to show phials and Kindred Spirits if you are Kyrian. I’ve also added icons for Night Fae and Venthyr. Moonfire not applied when using right habd side aoe ability as more important to be using Starfire.

Not ideal for Balance of All Things legendary as you will really want to be pooling resources and casting Starsurrge at start of an eclipse not simply when it has resources. Will be fine with other legendaries.

You can also add covenant cooldowns into the macros if you like.

Updated after using the macros for a while, split two originals into four. Weak aura updated too, managed to delete it by accident so apologies for anyone that has downloaded it as its now on a new url on the wago site.

You say this, but with Balance of All Things don’t you want to pool your astral power to unleash 3 crit starsurges at the beginning of an eclipse? I am confused.

I thought I was clear when saying it was not ideal, let me be clearer, it’s not recommended if you want the best out of BOAT, I would have designed it differently if I were using that legendary but I’m not.

What leg are you using? I am thinking about switching since most macros are not designed for it. I want to see if I can get a higher dps using a diff one.

Why don’t you just sim them to see which one is best for you or see what Icy Veins recommends?

I’m using Primordial Arcane Pulsar, but Deezyl_Fizzlepop is correct you should research it see what would work best for how you play.

I’ve updated my weak aura to include PAP tracking and play a different sound when both eclipses are active together.

My problem with BOAT is making sure I get Starsuges off as soon as eclipse is entered and balancing starfall and buffed starsurge with enough arcane power in aoe when there is only a few mobs left. You have to be ready to cancel casts and cast starsurge as soon as you enter eclipse, any delay means you are missing out on the buff that is decaying with time. PAP I find is easier to react to and I only have to be careful with my CA.

I mean you also lose damage if you accidentally let the macro cast a wrath when lunar eclipse starts too and that’s kind of the same issue. I made a weak aura to show the seconds left for either eclipse and it fixed this issue for me. I love PaP though for cruising through lower keys its a lot of fun.

Thanks, That is the legendary I went ahead and made and I am DPS’ing higher then when I try to use an time BOAT. I have the same issue with that Legendary which is why I DPS higher now.

I’ve also updated my weak aura again so it will track BOAT usage too turning the glow green during BOAT, not that I recommend my macro at all for BOAT. If I were using that one I’d move the Starsurges out of the ST macros onto a separate key.

Yup, I did that with mine but I use the AOE macro like 70 percent of the time when playing dungeons. I will use BOAT when I am raiding though.
