No, I do not use the Raid ST sequence for Mythic+ bosses.
The Raid ST sequence is only for pure single-target raid encounters.
The M+ sequence is made for Mythic+ as a full dungeon sequence: trash, cleave, priority targets and bosses inside a key. It keeps the M+ flow with Wild Thrash, Kill Command, Barbed Shot and controlled Cobra Shot filler.
So the simple answer is:
Raid ST = Raid single target
M+ = Mythic+ dungeon gameplay
I do not recommend swapping to the Raid ST sequence during a Mythic+ run.
I mean the GSE sequence/import from the first post, especially the M+ / Cleave version.
After importing it into GSE, save the sequence and use the macro/button that GSE creates for it.
Then drag that generated GSE macro back to your action bar.
So basically:
Import the newest M+ / Cleave GSE sequence from the first post
Which sequence are you using, and what exactly happens when you press it?
nothing at all?
only some spells fire?
error message?
wrong spec/talent setup?
Please also make sure you are using the correct talent build for the sequence and the latest GSE version. If other GSE macros work, it is most likely an import/setup/talent mismatch, not a general GSE issue.
I haven’t done a full high-key comparison with Blizzard SBA yet.
SBA can work fine as a simple baseline, but for higher keys I still prefer a tuned GSE sequence because it gives more control over the build, spell order and what stays manual.
For M+ I would still keep important utility, defensives and special cooldowns manual, no matter if you use SBA or GSE.
If your talents are different, Wild Thrash may not fire at all.
Also make sure you imported the newest M+ / Cleave version, saved the sequence, checked the Compiled Template and dragged the macro back to your action bar.
If it still does not show up after that, please send me your talent code, the exact sequence name and a Details screenshot after a short AoE test.
