I was able to get it to work once the method you described, and then suddenly it doesn’t work anymore. Do you know if there is a way so that we can have it the way it was before? I quite enjoy having the icon go along with it rather than a blank space to mash with this new setup.
EDIT - Im just dumb, thank you crogin, i realized i can just put any icon and any macro in the same spot to satiate my aesthetic desire - thanks for the fast updates my guy!

It’s probably not an easy decision to stop working on them. Thanks for all the hard work over the last while, I Hope your recovery goes well. If you ever come back and start making them let us know how we can support the efforts.
A parting question. Will they continue to work as is, if we have them and just no further updates?
They will work as is. My updates/tweaks just won’t be posted.
If GSE does another major update they will not work.
I am a programmer by trade and am interested in learning how to build these out. If the community is interested, I will attempt to pick up at least the blood DK one, but I make no promises as I don’t have a ton of spare time. I am reading the documentation at the moment and will post them for testing if I succeed. If I do it it will be off the back of Corgin’s hard work as his is pretty clean in structure and easy to parse.

Made a small update to the macro.
Tested it with a few dungeon runs, and the macro is still performing well.

The Blood DK macro has been updated in version v0.1 with new information and improvements. The updated details for the Blood DK spec have now been incorporated. Be sure to check out the latest changes!
The macro it is not working very well. Not sure if it is only with me, but after lets say 10 casts, the macro halts and even pressing more the key, it does nothing.

Not sure if I mess up something but after like couples spells the gse stops working.
What is the best way to me reset everything and reinstall the macros?
Head to the AddOns folder and look for any folders related to GSE, then go ahead and delete them. You should also check the SavedVariables folder, which can be found within your WTF folder, for any GSE-related files. Keep in mind that you might have multiple folders if you play on several servers or with different characters, so it could take a little time. Once that’s done, you can try redownloading GSE to see if that resolves the issue. I’m not 100% sure this will fix it, but it’s worth a try!
Yep, not working for me 
Reimported, rekeybinded, checked the macros and after 5 6 spells, the macro stops " macroing"
