lol im afaid to delete and import atm as gse has been wonky
did that yesterday to restore the version 11.1 to default after quite a few changes, it did work just fine. Make sure to /reload as much as needed.
ok, let us get more information from it, shall we? What was the testing for? Hitting 1 target or multi-target dummie? Using version 11.1 and pressing the modifiers as needed? I see a bunch of Chain Lightning and stormstrike as well, so your build is set to Totemic Single Target instead of Totemic AoE ? What are you status on plain numbers? (the percentage is relative to how much of each you have).
I am leveling a character right now and i feel like Crash Lightning is often neglected when it has a proc - to fix this i simply ticket the “repeat 3” below the action box and now it fires whenever ready.
Of course i can’t provice numeric evidence if this actually helps dps since i’m still not 90 and my sim wouldn’t be fleshed out correctly but if you wanna take a look at this approach i’d welcome it ![]()
hi TMIK, do you have any logs from that fight? Any warcraftlogs link that I can analyze ?
You using ST totemic or AOE totemic build ?
Appreciate the quick replies! I can send when I get home tonight. I’m using the m+ talents since that’s only one I saw and just been using lb
awesome, that should work on most fights (M+ Talents), 'tho for direct boss fight with Cleave the talents are a bit different, not huge of a deal. The overall dps you getting is probably due to gear, but let us check the logs and get the point there.
After recent changes, the Stormbringer build for raid is performing a bit better. I’m creating a sequence just for Stormbringer as we speak, that should land next week as further tests are concluded.
No doing much raid this season myself, but I guess that much overall dps should be fine, or not?
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/9WwZaV4C2gczr1tm?fight=16&type=damage-done&source=149 This is for the 2nd and 3rd boss, I did die on the 3rd boss so the 2nd one prob. would be better to look at
thanks for sharing it.
2 points that can explain your overall total
1º ILVL of course is a must, specially for raid performance, your’s ok just need more really
2º Talents, for that raid in particular the talents do shift a bit during each boss, you can’t (you probably know that already, just pinning it here) use the same combination of talents for each boss if you don’t have the gear to compensate.
So, suggestions:
Bosses - Imperator Averzian, Vorasius, Fallen-King Salhadaar - change Fire Nova and pick Flurry, change Swift Recall and pick Oversized Totems
Bosses - Vaelgor & Ezzorak, Lightblinded Vanguard - go full AOE mode as you are now, but also pick Oversized Totems
Final boss - pick Flurry instead of Fire Nova and pick Converging Storms instead of Chaining Storms
These talents suggestions are based on you actual talent setup from your logs, so, go that base setup and change according to the boss you are facing.
If you are ok with all this and have a real good group, you can always go with Oversized Totems instead of Swift Recall, as the group will work their way over the raid without you beeing the main CC’er
Now talking about your parses
![]()
the first from [Damage done] is low, ok, but that is purely based on performance inside the raid and movement, and party buffs, and a lot of other things, so don’t you worry about it too much, now the second parse notation is above 60% and that, for your ilvl, is awesome, specially without the BiS gear (check on murk).
about the analyzer (part I personally enjoy the most to see)
Let’ s pick only the Vorasious for this ok? We can go over the other fights on a discord chat you prefer
This is from the kill try
as expected, due to talents and lack of gear, the buff did not went that well during the procs, no a big problem here as Lava Lash hot hand’ed alone would not increase that much of your dps, of course a huge help if landed.
DW windows were on point, so it means you were close to the boss or adds as much as you needed to be, good job here, the talents swap mentioned above would help to get the next procs on better usage.
here a bit variation, the ranged cast of sundering was ok, but the the “melee” cast of it was not that much, it coun’ts for Sundering + Primordial casts, that means you did cast sundering but sideways and primordial hit the right target, so mind your positioning and where you facing
just fine as well, again positioning and facing must need a bit of improvement, and talents
The sequence proof of effiency here, it was firing what it should be firing as needed, you’ll improve and get better results when growing on gear and getting used to shaman enhancement positioning.
Overall statistics from that fight
I hope that gives you more understanding on how it works and how my sequence behaves =)
hi there @xCiubx,
I don’t deal with AHK nor anything related to boost/altering MS, I just let the game decide and tha’s it
I usually run the sequence and use modifiers when procs or maelstrom are at it’s peak (9-10 stacks), accordingly to the amount of targets in front of me, any pull/pack under 4 targets I prefer to use LB modifier and focus the primary target, above that CL modifier. And that is it, Doom Winds flows by itself, and it is mostly aligned with pulls as long as your tank knows what tanking is, if you have a bad tank the sequence will just not work fine.
Important thing as well, set blizzard’s CDM to show you when you have Doom Winds up and also make sure to use a CL or LB before it’s back from cooldown, as it will spend a ton of maelstrom into your last cast of CL or LB.
any thought about todays enh changes?
people are saying that because they fixed the bug to Enh, its even worse now? as the ‘buff’s did nothing to offest it?
I main ret so im not up to speed with Enh and how the intracacy of how it functions
Hi there @punahou ! how’s it going mate?
Well, the patch brought some good overall changes but nothing that breaks the meta, enhancement does still find its place Tier A+ as dps in my POV, it does have a considerable amount of CC, Hero, constant interrupts, etc. It’s always an awesome pick.
Enhancement after the last changes does have more auto-attack dps, the 10% increase is something to consider, it does change the game play a bit. I’m tending towards FLurry now.
About Thorim’s Invocation, that is a buff from Doom Winds, it was casting a ton of CL/LB but under 5 stacks, not optimal at all, the patch did force it now to cast only at 10 Maelstrom, for me it is an improvement, I prefer 5 casts at 10 stacks over 10 casts at 5 stacks.
Stormbringer did get a huge boost with overall changes + specific talents changes, and it is now mostly toe-to-toe with Totemic, I’m enjoying playing with Stormbringer, the effects are awsome, my new sequence with versions for both is landing this friday at most.
Still, Totemic has the advantage of the flow, the skills lineup way better compared to Stormbringer, so for the sake of the fun I’d say Stormbringer is visually more fun to play.
Hi all,
Version 12 is cooked, delivered and served.
Changelog:
- Able to improve a bit more the usage of Lava Lash, making Hot Hands buff refreshing at 3.5 to 4s
- Stormstrike had to be nearly removed from usage, in exchange to increase the recurring of Lava Lash
- Using talent Flurry for now, it did prove very nice when it line with Doom Winds, and this does happens a lot
Enjoy!
Man appreciate it! you went into a lot of detail!
I will defiantly change the talents and work on positioning more
Glad to help, hope you enjoy the version as well.
thank you
your new version
do you have it for totemic and storm?
im afraid to delete the current one i have as importing macros has been largley broken for 2 weeks now
Lots of pausing, however, when it works, it pumps! When it decides it wants to work….
