Didnā€™t test your macro (iā€™ll do), but readed all the topic, and it seems that there is a missunderstood. people dont ask you about adding counter shot in macro, people often use it outside of modifier bc itā€™s out of gcd, people ask you to add it in tree talent.

Yeah that was a huge oversight on my part.
Also wanted to test out other talent changes, see if I could pump out more DPS.

You canā€™t use more than one talent tree at a time. I find it difficult to understand why there are separate trees for AoE and ST. I use both St and Aoe during one run alone. When in battle you just canā€™t swap out the trees like you can for your macros.

It would be nice if the tree offered both options for the St/Aoe skills. I canā€™t always just stick to ST in a dungeon run with so many grouped mobs intermingled.

I canā€™t tell you how many times this happens so you really need to be careful near the end of a pull because that is exactly how I ended up pulling the boss before the tank was ready. Pet-Pull is a massive problem.

Multi shot and all aoe skill (like talent that increase dmg from stomping pet) are on one side.
All solo target (better dot and others) are on other line.

If you take talents that let you do st and multi, then youā€™ll be ā€œbadā€ for both.
On raid or dungeon, you have to check if most of the time youā€™ll beed solo or mt.
You can get ā€œhybridā€ talent, but itā€™ll be a big dps loss.

Wonderful work and macro as usual, Do you use action targeting by chance?. because this and every macro iā€™ve used that has had HM in it the macro will attack then hang and auto-attack.if i remove HM altogether works just fine,only thing i can think of is I use action targeting.

Yo just a quick thank you to the author, I have been using GSE for years and this is my first forum post, this sequence you have put together is fun and although its early days in the season I expect that it will be at the top of the BM and general Hunter macros for quite a while.

I am PVP focused so I am making my own changes as I go along, once I have 4 set and my tuning is done I will upload my findings here so maybe you can add a PVP tab to your work.

Look at your character specific macros, you have no space to create more then the macro wont deploy correctly

I do not, should I? Iā€™m curious if itā€™s like the aforementioned HM issue, Iā€™ll disable HM in the meantime and see if that changes anything.

I think when you open /GSE you click on the macro until the options at the bottom activate then click create icon. It will give it a red ? Then you go into macros from the mini menu and change the icon/name to what you want. Only do one at a time though, it gets wonky if you have two w the same icon.

When has this game been all about DPS? When I started in vanilla on my first char on PVP realm I quickly learned survival is the best method. Made my Hunter Hybrid where I had like 5 stun, interrupt, and add frozen trap. I was always called into raids and dungeons just to the fact I knew what to do. I solo play now and my eyes roll when I see Hunter not interrupting or knowing when to tranq.
Man I had the best fun ever on that Hunter for long periods.
