I’m discovering the “Pause” section that macros offer, and I think it makes the sequence more balanced over time. I’d like you to try it out and see if it works better for you. I’ll put it in the first post. Enjoy
Hi DrussRet , i have import this and it shows in the Keybindings but when i hit the key yo start the macro nothing happens. i have checked this alot and done it right but i cant get the macro to start
I had the same issue. It actually corrupted the entire GSE storage, and caused addon failures in Decursive and anything else using the AceGUI-3.0. The error relates strictly to the ST_v5 import. The AoE one works fine after multiple install/re-installs.
Edit: Just to be clear, this relates only to the new BETA macro listed above. I have found it to be a little janky with pause inserted but will continue testing.
I don’t understand the errors you’re mentioning. Everything works for me.
I reported it in another thread to the forum creators so they could try to find a solution. It works for me, but many other users are experiencing errors.
It must be some kind of incompatibility issue between the macro creator on this website and the add-on.
You can add many things, but the macro works better if you put little content. Everything goes faster and more fluid with short rotations. It is my feeling
It’s so weird! I imported the latest V6 macro, and it displayed as V6 during the import process. However, after the actual import, it became V5 version, and the ST macro is still empty. I’m so anxious! Using someone else’s macro doesn’t have this problem, but their macro has a lower DPS than yours, so I still prefer to use yours!
Timothy just has some bugs to squish with this new version of GSE. It’s been a bit of a nightmare since the .13-a release for many. If you perform a clean install of GSE using .15, delete the SavedVariables folder and import the macro’s that you linked you would likely experience something similar Druss.
Any chance you can export the ST string by itself so we can try it out?
As far as feedback goes for AoE, I haven’t found that the pause creates a smoother rotation. ButbI also think the amount of input and how frequently that block is called has a lot to do with it. So I believe the thing about milliseconds we aren’t supposed to talk about plays very heavily into how this new macro iteration will react in game.
My GSE simply stopped working; all the chars are malfunctioning. Does anyone know what’s happening? I can export a macro, but when you configure it, everything is empty.
Yes, it’s the same macro, but exported from gse.tools so you can use it until they fix the website. Ignore people who don’t deserve your attention. It’s the best defense
not entirely sure why, but for some reason, paladin sequences aren’t working for me, every other class fine, but pally is playing up. ST works, AOE doesn’t work for any macro, and importing new macros doesn’t work either :’)
Edit after several attempts it finally imported, reset cache and reinstall of gse and it finally works
As I said before, download the All in One collection I linked in first post. It’s the same version as the one posted on the forum, but exported directly from gse.tools. The other option is to open the builder and manually copy the macro into the game, creating a new sequence. I find it easier to import the gse.tools version. You can also go to gse.tools and search for my sequences or collection and export. It’s public.
Idk whats going on but still even going to gse.tools and exporting that way after a full clean reinstall of everything is not working. Cool for those that its working for but everything was perfect like what, 3 days ago? If it aint broke dont fix it. Literal waste of time.
