⚔️ DrussRet - (Updated 03/26/28) (M+/RAID) (AOE/ST) (+AddOns)

I deleted the beta version, It wasn’t working well.

For now, we’re sticking with v3, which is lightning fast. I did Mythic 12 #1dmg

Sad :frowning: i actually liked the v4 beta. Loved the fast burst at start! hope for a working v4 soon

GSE goes crazy when putting different combinations in the same macro (v4). It’s a shame, because you could do cool things. I will try with addon updates to see if they fix it.

But the V3 has never left me with a blocked skill and that has a great value.

The important thing to improve damage is the combination with the NOCD macro. This dmg shows when you save the CDs and the spears with the trinket activated. It is easy and improves the damage a lot.

have you seen my dm message @DrussRet

Today as a guild we finished our normal and heroic raids and tried a mythic raid. V3 is absolutely flawless. Could anything else be added to that? Why not?

I’m doing tests and so far I haven’t found any combination that improves it. The v3 runs smoothly and doesn’t get stuck; combined with the NOCD, I burst when it’s needed.

If I find anything, I’ll let you know. Thanks for the kind words

The only thing im noticing is in M+ with big chain pulls, theres almost never a reason to hold off CDs with such big packs, and without using the NOCD macro, some pack fights have me starting out very low and raising over time, and some packs I dominate the charts. Obviously weaker at single target/boss fights with mechanics and higher keys. I think that’s just a side effect of how Paladins are right now in M+.

That’s because you’re not throwing the CDs properly. Use the CDs correctly and the damage increases exponentially.

Hi!

:fast_up_button: New version is live — see first post :fast_up_button:

I’ve figured out why the previous v4 had bugs. It was because GSE would get stuck with multiple loops in the same rotation. TALENTS UPDATED

I made a new v4 (BETA) that doesn’t get stuck and is faster than v3 (the burst is really fast :face_savoring_food: ). Remember that you need CAPS 20% haste to improve your rotation and prioritize Mastery over Crit, never Versa.

The main difference is that v4 has a priority list: Burst > HP burn > other abilities. v3 casts abilities sequentially, so you burn always HP with v4, which increases long-term damage and burst cast speed.

It’s important to update also your talents for v4.

Enjoy!

Hey i tested these.

V3 AoE is for me much better then V4.

But V4 ST is better then V3 ST.

At 2min Dummy Punching.

Ah Running Macro at 100ms and got World Ping from 18-20ms

During the rotation, as the minutes pass, both behave the same. The damage difference depends on critical hits, abilities, etc.

The real difference is the initial burst; in v4, abilities are cast faster (I think). Furthermore, v4 will always burn HP because it’s in a priority list loop: Burst > burn HP > other abilities. V3 casts abilities sequentially, so you’re unlikely to utilize all the HP and will ultimately lose damage.

great macro keep up the awesome work

Okay, I have now tested both the ST and AOE macros on both V3 and V4. I ran multiple sequences on dummies for both 2 minutes and 5 minutes.

Of course I can only speak from what I personally noticed.

2 minute ST sequence: V4 gave a few thousand extra DPS
2 minute AOE sequence: V4 gave a few thousand extra DPS

5 minute ST sequence: No noticeable difference between V3 and V4
5 minute AOE sequence: No noticeable difference between V3 and V4

It is exactly like DrussRet said. The clear difference is in the burst, at least from what I could see. V4 bursts significantly harder than V3 on both ST and AOE, which gives higher DPS at the start. However, it evens out as soon as the fight gets a bit longer and the overall DPS becomes basically the same.

I tested both manually spamming the bound keys and running it with a repeat macro in Razer Synapse (hold to run and release to stop, exactly the same function Blizzard has in their own menu). I still wanted to test it through Synapse so I could control the milliseconds between clicks.
I tried 100 ms, 150 ms and 200 ms with my in game latency at 22 ms home and 23 ms world. I found that 100 ms was my sweet spot. But I got no DPS difference or advantage from running it that way compared to just spamming the same button a ridiculous amount of times :face_with_tongue: It was just much easier on my fingers.

Thanks so much for the analysis. As you say, the burst is key in v4. The good thing is that they launch almost simultaneously, so the burst is practically perfect every minute. There’s no difference in seconds, so it’s always timed correctly. For now I’ll leave both versions running to continue testing and see if we get any errors, but today it worked fine

Do all you have 20% haste?

Im 260 ilvl geared, but im nowhere near 20% haste.

I have 22% haste XD. Do not take anything critic or versa. Just have haste/mastery.

Well, i dont have endless amount of items to choose from, if they dont drop :stuck_out_tongue:
Im at 15% haste now though.

Second week of the raid, third in damage and a 96% rating on warcraftlogs.com. Used version 4 and without any bugs/crash. If it continues to be this good, I’ll make it the official macro
