It’s really strange… I’ve been trying to fix the problem for 5 hours but couldn’t. Both v4 and v5 have no issues with macros working, but Justice Blade absolutely will not execute… other abilities work fine. I am a Korean user. Could there be such a difference? The ability name is entered correctly, and to prevent any potential errors, I even tried setting it by spell ID. Still, only Justice Blade doesn’t execute. Do you happen to know the cause?
It happened to me once. Reinstall all GSE, delete the folders and put the macro back. In the common mistakes section of the first post I put how to do it.
Thank you. No matter how many times I deleted RSE, the settings remained. I had to completely close the game and then delete it so that it wouldn’t restore the files, which allowed for a complete reset. After completely deleting and reinstalling the settings, all functions are working normally. Thank you!!! You’re the best!
Hi, thank you for macro. Its working on me, im 83 level yet.
I’m glad you like it! ![]()
I think v5 is working great. It’s true that it now spams spenders a lot to use more Holy Power, causing the cooldowns to sometimes not cast at the exact same time (V4 does launch the CDs simultaneously, losing spenders).
But that allows us to do much more damage (15% more), and it’s the path we need to take. Knowing how to alternate between the v5 macro and the NOCD macro is key to maximizing Holy Power spenders and ensuring the cooldowns are cast at the right time.
@tehzle was a great help in achieving this damage maximization with Divine Storm and Final Verdict, thanks ![]()
heyas
V5 ST
wake of ashes seems to be iffy casting. Im having to manually push it every now and then, otherwise the macro gets stuck
V4 everything works fine
I sim at 78k for ST and v4 fluctuates between 62k to 74k after the initial burst
not sure why v5 seems to not work like v4
Hi, could you tell me the name of the website that tell you the holy power waste and the power builder effectiveness please
Hello! The web is WoWAnalyzer .
Copy the link of your Warcraftlogs logs and that page analyzes the game.
Here a tutorial: https://youtu.be/EWLlk-kbZ7g?is=Ri6d8fHwBrWzyXFS
The macro is exactly the same in ST as AOE so the operation is the same. Failure to automatically launch Wake of Ashes is because it prioritizes the Spenders, So it is not a fault. I have tested the V4 and V5 a lot. V4 prioritizes launching the CDs (Alas, Ashes, Sentence, Toll) and that does not increase the damage. The V5 always throws the Spenders whenever it can, so sometimes you will see that the CDs are released somewhat later. It is normal, if you launch the CDs you accumulate a lot of HP and lose damage in long battles. That’s where you have to go play with the Nocd Button. You can change the priority of the Spenders by moving that macro above or below the CDs. Try and tell us that it works best for you. To me In RAID it made 12% more effective prioritize Spenders.
ah ok got it— thank you
hi @DrussRet just a question when you mention in your original post: CAPS: 15% haste - does that mean i can’t go over 15%? See below which are my current stats
Hi! You cannot exceed 15%, cannot be below 14%. You have a lot. It is playing 14-15% Haste, you have 21%
My stats:
Crit: 780
Haste: 611 (14%)
Mastery: 933
yo @DrussRet.. you got the best sequence i’ve tried so far.. but sometimes the wake of ashes didnt fire off or need a long time to fire off..
so i tweak a lil bit your sequence.. i put more wake of ashes at the end of the sequence..
and it runs smoothly and perfectly..
this is just my experience.. if anyone have some problem with me.. try it..
thanks for sharing the best sequence..
cheers
Hello! Glad to hear that. Wake of Ashes tends to be slightly delayed due to the priority of the spenders. In my testing, it’s generally better to use spenders rather than casting Wake of Ashes immediately.
If you keep testing and find it performs better the other way, feel free to adjust it. That said, I don’t recommend adding more macros. Instead, place Wake of Ashes above the spenders at the start of the rotation, that’s all you need to do.
This way, Wake of Ashes will take priority over Divine Storm and Final Verdict. The macro stays cleaner and performs better than trying to force Wake in with additional macros. The simpler the rotation, the better it works.
I’ve made a small update with the change you suggested in the official v5 version (first post). Download it and give it a try. I’ll be testing it as well.
If it performs better, we’ll make it the final version. Does that sound good?
New version is live — see first post
I now prioritize Wake of Ashes and leave Divine Toll (a Holy Power generator) for after the spenders. This ensures Divine Toll is used when there’s no Holy Power available to spend.
Just wondering if this can be played using the raident glory varient of the build
Yes, there’s no need to change the macro. If you change talents, simply run /reload to ensure everything is properly updated and go.
so, it seems better ? prioritize woa and leave dt? ![]()
It is easier to use because the CDs are thrown more simultaneously. It is easier to use because the CDs are thrown more simultaneously. Try it and tell me ![]()
I tested version v5 with the change we discussed, and the spenders are still working well. It makes sense, since among the cooldowns, the one that generates Holy Power is Divine Toll, and it’s placed after the spenders in priority.
For now, unless someone suggests otherwise, this will remain the official version. I’m also sharing a screenshot of the average performance in Mythic+. (13%-16%)
Thanks for the correction, let’s keep improving ![]()
