Our colleague was right. I had made a typo. The version has now been updated.
Creating macros directly in-game is quite tedious, so hopefully the website macro builder will improve that soon.
I’ve added a “sequence” mode, which allowed me to remove another macro. The setup is becoming much cleaner and more optimized. While reviewing my raid rotation with wowanalyzer.com, I noticed I could generate even more Holy Power and make better use of Blade of Justice. This new mode helps achieve that.

i have imoported your latest single target sequence, choosen to use “all talents” bound it to my mouse key, run at the boss, spam the hell out of the key, lowest DPS in the raid, best gear in the raid - whats the issue do you think?

I’m sending you the common mistakes here. Double-check what you’re doing. Practice with the dummies and see which abilities aren’t being used. I also have a video in the first post on how to bind keys. It works perfectly, I’m sure you’ll get it
A brilliant seq from Druss, gave me a personal Discord tutorial, I had a few things confused.
Works perfectly, just need the BIS gear for it to really do its job.

Today I completed the entire raid on Hero difficulty, and using the tools at wowanalyzer.com.
I discovered that I could still spam Holy Power more. I’ve updated macro by adding another rotation to use up that HP and increase my damage.
Working good so far! Finished the whole raid, did my preys, open world, delves, without a lockup while hitting at or above sim damage. Nice job. Appreciate your hard work. One question though, I took out the /targetenemy and /startattack lines as I worry about pull unwanted mobs while spamming but I still auto target mobs in my line of sight if I hold the key down. Checked blizz settings are the option to do that is turned off and no lines in the macro contain anything about targeting. None of my other characters have this issue, just my ret. Any thoughts?

/ StartAttack is to generate auto-attacks if there are skills with CD. I would not remove It.
/ Targetenemy… is to avoid throwing out-of-combat skills by mistake. I would not remove it.
I use the Tab key to select goals
Ok thanks. I use tab also but it’s still auto targeting mobs if I look in their direction when key is held down. Any way to stop that? If I have a target already, say a training dummy, and look at another target, it will not switch to the new target when the button is held down. But if I have no target and hold down the button while looking in the direction of a mob, it will auto target. I want stop that from ever happening.
It has to be some internal configuration of your game. It doesn’t happen to me. If I look at another target in the opposite direction, a message “you are with your back to the target” appears and I stop hitting. I didn’t know that could happen. Ask Chatgpt how to change that in the WOW options. XD
Chatgpt told me you have the autotarget activated. Deactivate it from the options or put this in the chat: /Console SoftTargetInterAct 0
/Console SoftTargeTenemy 0

No idea what it could be then because the action targeting option is disabled in WoW options and none of the macros I use have any /target or /attack related lines in them just for this reason. I had no target and just turned my camera behind me and hit the macro button and it targeted the mob. This only happens on my pally.
Grok said pretty much the same thing about those console commands. Tried them both and it still auto targets something. Also gave me a different one which I tried and it didn’t work.

It sounds like you have Action Targeting activated in wow.
Go into Options - Combat and scroll all the way down, there you have “Enable Action Targeting”, uncheck it and try now

Anyway, I would put the macro with those options you deleted. By mistake you will use skills many times and spend CDs without need. It is not the cause of your problem. Good luck!
