blade of justice and light within (combined in raidbots) come closer to the sim value. dps stays about the same but the debuff doesn’t fall off anymore (which is better for high movement fights cause you have more dot uptime).
changes i’ve made in the screenshot above. to my understanding you can’t do /cast of the same ability twice in a macro anyway so i wasn’t sure why it was there in the first place. i upped the repetition number slightly so it has higher chance to fire.
edit: did the same changes for your aoe spec (you got the order right in aoe, just changed the lines/repeats), doing 102% of my sim with better burst than the version without execution sentence.
Hi! Incredible analysis. I really appreciate people taking the time to add value to the forum and to the macros being created.
Regarding talents, I listed some generic ones for raid, but in reality I’m using 4 different talent setups in raid and 2 in Mythic+, similar to what’s used on WarcraftLogs.com. It depends on the boss, more AoE or more ST.
The reason I duplicated Judgement and Blade of Justice is because GSE sometimes stops casting them while the macro is running. The only way I’ve found to prevent that is by setting it up this way. It seems to be a GSE issue, and until it’s fixed, this workaround is working well for me. This also happened for a while during The War Within patch, but it was fixed afterward by GSE.
There are also many comments in the Orb thread mentioning the same issue, that Judgement doesn’t work. This fixes it.
So what would be your conclusion then? Should I use my macro without duplicating Judgement and Blade of Justice? If I only have a single /cast line for those abilities, they stop after a while. Have you experienced that?
i haven’t had any lockups in either macro since i swapped multiclick buttons to ON. i’m not using an action bar button so might be related to that for some people. i recently discovered that different action bars / interfaces swapped their action bar strata what seems to interfer with keypresses from gse (for whatever non-logical reason) so i swapped to using mouse buttons for them.
if it runs perfectly fine for you, i wouldn’t swap. i’d change the order in the st macro though for mentioned reason because the judgement debuff is longer than consecrated blade’s one so you have 100% uptime on both (you already have the correct order in the aoe macro).
also: please play an arms alt so i can stop learning gse the hard way lol
I’ve run 5 dungeons using Judgment and Blade of Justice on a single /cast, and it looks like GSE has fixed the issue. I’ve updated both versions and prioritized Judgment in the ST version. Thanks for the improvement, the damage increase is noticeable
NOW Version 5 of the macro is now working, you can update it. Enjoy!
Do you have logs from a fight so i can compare him vs you?
Spenders like Final Verdict, should generally only be used with 5 holy power. GSE cant do that. Macro’s like these will have Final Verdict being cast anywhere between 3-5 Holy Powers.
When updating a version, it’s best to delete the previous version and copy the new one. Not doing so can merge both versions and mix content (merge option).
I tested it, and that’s what’s happening to you. If you copy version 5 without deleting version 4, version 4 of ST won’t be copied. Delete ALL the previous versions and then copy the new one and /reload. This appears in the common errors options I have in the main post.
/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/startattack
/use Radiant Glory - Isn’t a spell to be cast (Passive and doesnt need to be added)
/cast Execution Sentence - If I decide to go with ES build but I like Radiant Glory so I removed ES.
I also modified 1.4 block
/cast [known: Hammer of Light, nomod] Wake of Ashes; [noknown: Hammer of Light, nomod] Divine Storm
If you like to automate the trinket, it is the only option. I prefer to throw it manual. It is a very important object and depends on how to launch the final damage changes a lot. In addition, the message of “the object could not be used” appears all the time. And that is annoying. Doesn’t it happen to you?
If you have been testing macros in GSE many times, I recommend that you reinstall everything. In the first post I explain how to do it. It will solve your problem.
Agreed, make sure to delete save variables and then re-import. Like Druss said, messing around in GSE and making mods sometimes causes issues so, get your sequence right, export, and do fresh clean install - helped me. Little more work but then you know everything is fresh and working
