Hi All

I modified Elfyau’s macro for Dragonflight, which improved my DPS overall. Now please note I run this at 100 MS but only do that if you have a hardware keyboard like iCUE or Synapse if you use AHK or any other software emulation please use 250 ms.

v1 - DF Update
v2 - Tried a new rotation for better management of Dispatch
v3 - Finalized macro for level 60 and ready to level with up to 70. Thanks to @NoMu_Gaming for updating the initial rotation, squeezing out another 3k DPS for me, and with better gear probably even more.
v4 - Rewrote the macro for level 70 including Blade Rush thanks to @GauPanda for assistance on the rotation.
v4.1 Update - Updated some stuck elements

v4 Update - Massive change to the locking-up rotation due to Between the Eyes being used. I added Blade Rush to ALT and it should only be used on AOE pulls, or during AOE encounters. Do not use this on a single-target situation as the DPS just sucks. The only time to use this in a single target is if you feel like your energy generation is a bit low, which will be typical for many with low haste. Once you RTB and you get the haste buff, you won’t need Blade Rush to give you the extra energy.

I did not add Shadow Dance to the rotation, as it should be used situationally, like during Bloodlust. I suggest adding this as an extra button. This is a very strong spell but should only be used when during Bloodlust due to the haste energy generation.

v4.1 Update - Not a big change but I modified the rotation so it doesn’t get stuck. Secondly, I moved some abilities around including Slice and Dice, Blade Rush, and Between The Eyes to make sure they fire off better. I recommend adding WeakAuras to your addon list to see this.

In regards to Shadow Dance only use this spell when you have the following conditions:

  • When you have both REGEN and HASTE from RTB
  • You are under the effects of Heroism or Bloodlust
  • You have more than 12% haste unbuffed.

You only need to meet one of the conditions above, then you can use Shadow Dance. Otherwise don’t use it. It will allow you to use more Ambushes, but at the cost of energy, and if your energy regen is low it’s not worth the ability.

To note something **Haste Rating is equal to Energy Regen ** If you have a lost haste rating, you will not regenerate energy that quickly, this is the same issue with Feral Druids and Windwalker Monks. Rogues have RTB, which helps with both energy regen and haste to help with that, other classes do not have that.

Hey man,

I just wanted to say that I tried your macro, and it did not work at all. It would not progress through the cycle, all it did was enter stealth, then ambush, then hang up. Any thoughts?

Doesn’t seem to initiate - not sure if it’s a DF UI error blocking it. But I also don’t see Dreadblades etc. anywhere in the macro - even though its stated to be a modifier.

Yeah that is what is happening with me, the lack of initialization, and I also do not see dreadblades in it anywhere.

GSE had an update yesterday prior to the servers coming back online, so maybe update GSE first and then try to reimport it. I sent it to a few friends too and it worked for them with zero issues.

Yeah, I updated it before logging in. After that is when it failed to initiate. So from there, I re-downloaded the macro from the archive, and I also tried the new DF macro where available. No idea.

I updated GSE nothing will work yet in retail tried several classes and macros :frowning:

Weird I have no idea, @TimothyLuke I think this might be a wide spread issue that people are having trouble importing macros now since DF pre-patch.

For me it works well, I can create a step sequence for you and share it as a Google Doc. I don’t know if that will work though.

Sadly guys I don’t what happened but GSE no longer works. I can open the addon but it won’t execute anything.

So I found you have to do this every time you login so I created a normal macro to use every time I logon now LOL. What a terrible way for Blizzard to roll out this expansion.

You can also download the addon AdvancedInterfaceOptions and there is a setting to activate spells on keypress so it works all the time

That addon is not working i just checked but a new version of GSE was just released and has a option in htere to turn that on

The GSE one doesn’t work on the latest update, and neither does AIO, the macro works though at least.
