Do you all set your pets on passive while in dungeons and raids?
Typically I have mine set to assist. I may dismiss them sometimes for taking a short cut or something as sometimes the pets pull taking their own pathing route
Hey man, thanks for the update. Really appreciate you guys sharing these with us.
Just took this and did a full clear of both Torghast wings and it performed really well. The only thing i had to do was add a couple of personal preferences like pet debuff, Tar trap and flare, Wild Spirits and pet heal (because i’m lazy). Had to add Hunter’s Mark also because that 15% damage buff is awesome. It went really smooth.
The only issue i came across was Mend Pet falling off for too long. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to prioritize it so it’s always refreshed on CD. Maybe you can help me out here?
Anyway, thanks again for sharing.
hello Elfyau finally you have updated the macro bm, unfortunately currently bm is very low in dps compared to other classes, however, the macro seems great only note that I notice is that it uses with much delay beatial wrath sometimes pass even 10 seconds as never?
@gamers Let me fix that for you:
“hello Elfyau finally you have updated the macro bm, unfortunately currently bm is very low in dps FOR ME compared to other classes, however, the macro seems great only note that I notice is that it uses with much delay beatial wrath sometimes pass even 10 seconds as never FOR ME?”
Some others might not experience this as every character IS DIFFERENT in terms of gear, stats, ms, etc…
So, do you want Elfyau to tailor it exclusively for you?
And looking the week three CN DPS charts (which should be taken with some what a grain of salt), BM is near the bottom. Hells, even SV is performing better.
If you want the better DPS for Hunters (as of now) go MM and laugh.
The Talent “Bloodshed” is wonky at best lately and not worth taking…run you sims with it then hit the practice dummy then go hit the world boss…you’ll see it encompasses very little of your dps.
So basically you’re telling your pet to “claw attack that target that you’re currently focused on and claw attacking”??
why 2 macros? 1 and 2. so which do i use?
No Barbed shot in the macro?
@Spoony Barbed Shot is in there and @Ali_Asghar I made slight boo boo setting it up adit the maco go into the config tab change default and party to 1 and everything else to 2
And so it is, Please accept my apologies
how can we put hunter’s mark in there without it continually casting it and nothing else?
edit: ran this on dungeon dummy for 3 min and got 2.3k dps. I am ilvl 188.
This note needs to be added and visible on the main page : go into the config tab change default and party to 1 and everything else to 2
Put hunters mark in the keypress or keyrelease areas (they should cast when you press or release the key the macro is bound to depending on what section you used but they will not cast if you are already casting something which makes the keyrelease section a worse option) and put it in a castsequence macro that will reset when you change targets
/castsequence [nochanneling] reset=target Hunter's Mark, null
NOTE: edited it to be easier to understand.
lol, i thought the same when i tried it. had to pay morer attention when i was fighting to see it was going off.
What am I doing wrong? Author says to hold SHIFT for AOE.
When I hold SHIFT the macro just stops cycling.
I also don’t see anything in the macro denoting a shift function.
But I might be ignorant of how the shift from macro 1 to macro 2 works.
Is there an options screen I’m missing for swapping from one macro to another just holding SHIFT.
check your keybinds in-game and make sure shift is not bound to anything, as for tab 1 & 2 I will be fixing that soon but I made slight boo boo setting it up edit the maco go into the config tab change default and party to 1 and everything else to 2
not understanding it. I put it in the key release section. I spam my macro and it never puts hunter’s mark on the target. Is there something special I need to press for keyrelease?
he is suggesting that it resets on either target OR combat, for either:
Target: /castsequence [nochanneling] reset=target Hunter's Mark, null
or
Combat: /castsequence [nochanneling] reset=combat Hunter's Mark, null
Hi Elfyau,
First let me say thank you a million times. My wife and I use all your macros for all our characters. So thank you for your time!!!
That said, I still dont get it. I put that string of code in the KeyRelease container and save. It does not put hunter’s mark on a mob when I use the macro. Please forgive my stupidity here.
Try putting it in the Onkeypress section second line
