something is stuck in your gse.lau file… sounds like an old macro. Only thing I can tell you to do is do a file search for gse.lau and lua.old and remove them from that folder. I’d place them someplace else on your pc and try again… Also the only macros that work are the tww ones currently. older macros will not work on a newer version of gse
Either the developers of GSE or WOW did something, but now you can make an icon, but it won’t work if the sequence is made with macros, as everyone continues to do!
Here’s an example Balance All in One - prepatch it says how to make a button and the sequence of commands itself is described by spells, not macros.
Playing with all classes, I concluded that in GSE macros only for some classes (cat, robber, etc.) a strict sequence of commands is needed, for the rest just click what is active, the whole problem is that the WOW community was lazy even to develop the best talent branch for each class, so the same in one category here, almost at each macro compiler has a different talent branch, which is why there is such a different DPS.

hi elfyau i uninstalled gse and all components of it plugins to did a search for gse.lua and lua.old and deleted all of them (i have a backup) i also deleted all old macro stubs from /m . reinstalled gse and your hunter plugin and when im in gse/options/plugins i see hunter there in registerd addons but no sequences in gse so i click said plugin to save a copy as it says and get same error tried multiple reset of addons

Where did you get this macro from? Also if you got this curseforge, check the date on it…You may have downloaded an old nonfunctioning macro.
Also just so you know it doesn’t function like it used to, you do not drag an icon to the spellbar and use that. GSE has been changed. You have to go into /gse and keybind the macro. you won’t see any icons on your spellbar for it either. Just hit the key and have a good day.

i know that gse changed the way it works. but the addon of Elfyau, just wont do anything when you press the plugin button in gse.
^^^ This. I’ve been looking forward to Elfyau’s macros, but I’ve only found one developer so far where their macros work. After trying several and messing with that person’s setup, I relalize it’s because in GSE Sequence editor, their spells (“Frenzied Reg”, “Maul”, “Rip”) are set up as “Spells” and not “Macros”. Even Elfyau’s import looks like it’s set up as “Macros”.
Before, I could get it to work with the keybind, but I couldn’t get it to work with my controller. Even when I set it to create a macro calling “/click SEQUENCE” and binding the macro to PAD2 in WoW interface, or selecting the sequence in GSE for PAD2
It has been discussed several times that there are now two types of command sequences in GSE.
One consisting of a sequence of macros and it works only with the buttons assigned in the GSE itself.
And the second one, which consists of a sequence of spells and the use of objects and which can be displayed with a separate button on the panel, as it was before.
Almost everyone writes here as before, but now they don’t work as before, apparently the problem is in the GSE itself, which cannot substitute commands correctly.
In fairness, I want to note that the sequence of commands, in the old way, seems to me to work better…
Therefore, apparently we were left without a button in the bar, but only with assigned keys in the GSE itself, which is very inconvenient for me personally, since you can assign keys in GSE only one to one sequence of commands so that this the command did not start from the beginning when the second button was pressed.

hi i got elfyau hunter macro from curseforge latest tww version and gse3 from curseforge latest version when i click elfyau hunter plugin to save macros it gives me the error tried all elfyau plugins on my alt army still get same error. i did a complete wipe of gse and plugins remove all /m macros stubs left over from gse2 and delete all savevariables .lua files for gse several time time still same error . i tried with all addons disabled apart from gse and elfyau plugins still same error. i did manage to import from this website and all seems ok its just ive always used elfyau pluggins just puzzled why not working since gs3 update. thanks for the work ill keep trying over next few days and report back ere cheers

Hm, I used to do double the dmg with your DF macro, also, is there any particular reason why some spells/skills aren’t being included in the sequence? for example Cobra Shot? and why isn’t no one adding Hunter’s Mark and Mend Pet as part of the rotation? Thanks in advance.
GSE works fine if I copy the sequence, but the plugins are not working, do they require a different method?

Your gse macro has been a life saver for me in gaming again. Both of my hands are partly paralyze from spinal damage, and this has made playing again possible… so thank very much for your work. May I request a gse build in a zoo mode (A build maximizing the number of pets, direbeasts, and spell based pets) as an alternative in your selections. I am not able to created this build myself, and I haven’t see it In the forums under this new gse system. With the new talent system having many beasts up seems to be a plus.
