You have to access these from the Blizzard Macro editor.
In GSE make a copy of EA_AM. I called mine EA_AM_ST. Edit EA_AM_ST and change Block 3.1 from AMS1 to AMS1_ST. Save, change the key binding to point to EA_AM_ST and you should be set.
In a Quest/Dungeon the first trash you pull you will build up the arcane charges. After that, you will be at full charge for the rest of the questing/dungeon as long as you don’t have any long down times.
For raids and multi-target the original with the Arcane Barrage should be better since you have a long time on target to build up the charges and use them. What I saw questing/dungeons is by the time you build up full charges the bad guy is dead and everyone is running to the next badguy while you’re sitting there twirling your hands trying to get arcane barrage to fire.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about your work. I’m a L24 Arcane Mage, gradually getting better at the combat (my wife calls this mage a “glass cannon” but hope springs eternal). Anyway, 2 questions: what does the macro cover? and how do I set it up to access during game play?

also need to know that this is a lvl 80 sequence. so you might not see good results til about lvl 60 or higher.

only if your leveling from 70-80. if you want to use it for anything before, your gonna need to alter it so it doesnt cast spell you havnt learned yet.

This might be a dumb quest, but im new to this, but does it only work with Sunfury heto talents?
Or can i use spellslinger, as that looks to be widely agreed to be better?

the sequence is set to Sunfury only spells, you would need to go into it and change spells to match spellslinger spells.

This sequence and many on this website were created WAAAAYYYYYY before the single button assist was even being thought about by Blizzard.
Also remember a lot of classes need you to react to stacks and buffs you get from your skills/spells and you need to react to them. So a lot of builds will indeed be lower in terms of dmg output, compared to the single button assist.
So when it comes to making the sequence “better” to do “more damage”, you will need to test, create, test, edit, test, test, test, edit, test, get other people to test, make edits, more testing and finally release it (can take weeks or even months).
Then guess what Blizzard could update their single button assist to go through the rotation better or even reduce the internal cooldown of the skills. So the whole process starts over again or you just don’t bother making anything, as the Blizzard version is exactly what someone is looking forward, who just wants to play the game
A lot of sequence are not made for high end M+ or raiding. So just remember manually playing is going to be far superior in terms of dmg output, if you know what you’re doing.
@waaps This point of view is highly subjective; for me, I get between 150k and 1.2 M more DPS (Depending on where it is in the sequence) with this as opposed to the SBA. Many factors have to be taken into consideration. I created this sequence with my toon, his gear, on my server, using my ping, world ms, and PC and peripherals. This means that I will get different results than somebody else, as their toon, gear, ping, etc., will be different from mine. As I have always said, test out the macros, find something that best suits you, your toon and your playstyle and then adjust it to suit you even better. Even IF I were to get the same DPS with the SBA as a sequence, I would still choose a sequence as it contains way more spells being cast for the same DPS as the super, super basic SBA.

Yes, I made a subjective comment, because I got the same DPS output as the arcane mage I was playing. My point wasn’t to claim that SBA was better, but rather to request that this macro for the arcane mage be improved.
Frankly, I wasn’t expecting to get a response like, “If it’s better, then use it.”

I agree with you, and actually a lot of the macro sequences are worse than the GSE public profiles on the forums here.
