I used to play Warhammer Fantasy competitively; mostly infantry Vampire Counts. Also used to play Grey Knights and Dark Angels in 40K. Just don’t have the time anymore and there’s really nothing solid locally as far as leagues, stores, and players.
I don’t remember what the exact issue was, but there was something that the Prevent Sound Errors option really didn’t like in first section. The sequence itself was fine, but there was something about maybe Purify in the last section or something in the first that kept causing errors. I went so far as to disable everything down to just GSE and still had problems. I had to rearrange yours for my wife; she enjoys Disc for WQs and such, and Holy for dungeons.
Well, the macro is technically broken, but in a purposeful way. If you follow the sequence it “breaks” several times before it completes. I always thought I was flooding the macro buffer because I was forcing it to “break” differently depending on what your target was.
Would be interesting to know if the glitch happened only in combat, or only on a certain target. Again, I couldn’t ever recreate it.

My friends played 40k for years, but I just couldn’t get into it. Necrons were the closest to my jam, but they just felt… Borrowed.
After moving back home those same friends gave me the Malignant set for AoS and I saw my darling ghosties for the first time and I was in love. I have since amassed over 6k points with more coming, and I’m set on proving LoG is a competitive allegiance.
Let me check in really quick to let everyone know that I do intend to play for Shadowlands and update my Demon Hunter and Shadow Priest macros. No ETAs, as I’ll be playing right along most of you guys where I’ll be experiencing the content first-hand. No Alphas, no betas, and maybe even not on launch day for reasons I’ll get into in a sec. We’ll have to see. What this means is that I’ll certainly hop on both classes and test each spec for the technical side of these macros, but any fine-tuning is going to have to wait until I can get my characters up.
As for if the macros still work; they should. I have not played 8.3 at all. And I mean at all. If any new abilities were introduced that one would deem necessary for a rotation, let me know and I’ll see what I can do, but from reading alone I didn’t catch anything that looked like it’d necessitate an update. I have a bit of time today, so I will check each macro out to see if they still technically work, but again, I will have no knowledge of anything introduced in 8.3.
As for the reasons, well you all already know how games and free time work out. Sometimes WoW is the best game ever. Other times it’s just one of several. When you make a choice of what game to play with what time you have, sometimes WoW just doesn’t make the cut. No one’s here to read about my personal life, though, so all I’ll say is that I’m in healthcare, I support the front-liners, this is the latest health scare of many, and I’ll be lucky to score 4 hours of sleep tonight. I’ll leave it at that.
TL;DR: I’ll take some time today to check my macros, but apologies in advance for not knowing anything about 8.3. If you don’t see another reply, then the macro technically works. If you need something fixed, let me know and be specific. Otherwise, if you don’t hear from me, I plan on being back for Shadowlands and will update my macros then.
I have updated this macro it will no longer spam need a target it will also cast PWS on you and the Focus target on CD it will also auto switch to Target of target and PWS them too if Tank should lose aggro

Target or Focus the tank (or whoever will be taking aggro) and run this macro. It will automatically Power Word: Shield and apply Atonement on the friendly target while DPSing their enemy target. Should the enemy target a new friendly, the macro will automatically shield and atone them on the next Shield cast.
Hold ALT to cast Desperate Prayer and save yourself.
Hold SHIFT to activate Rapture and Pain Suppression to save your mouseover, target, or focus in that order.
Hold CTRL will Purify your mouseover, target, yourself, or focus.

This seems to be working fine.
I cant get Rapture+PS to fire tho with the shift mod, just says invalid target.
PWS also seems slow, have to “manually” apply it with the healing macro.
Oh. No, sorry to disappoint. I’m not back. I don’t even have this expansion and haven’t played since early Shadowlands.
I wanted to poke around a bit and see the state of things. See how macro making is doing. If someone wanted to take my old code and do something with it, I wholeheartedly give my blessing.
Well just know that your fated Disc macro was a masterpiece! Just target the tank and dps your heart out lol…If you decide to come back just know it will be welcomed.
I’m not sure if it’s possible, but if you can, someone should import my old macro and update it. Someone would have to tell me how different things are now.
