@JakeT Playing with the priority versus sequence can help. It depends on how fast your mash your button.
When I made the macro I was a 260-ish feral druid so my gear was no tank optimal.
Also with the latest nerfs our damage did go down. If you’re hitting 60k burst on training dummies, at 247 that isn’t bad…
Firstly, thank you for all your work. Your videos are chefs kiss!!
So I have been thinking about this and wonder if its possible so that instead of all Modifiers stopping Ironfur to build rage, and then having to mouseover and press shift to brez, why not set it up so that just holding Shift (and mousing over your target) causes it to stop spending rage and to fire Brez as soon as its available?
That way, only the shift key is being used to stop and brez and then we can assign Frenzied Regen to Alt and possibly SI to CTRL?
@smoothglobal Thank you for the feedback on the videos. I’ve been talking about doing them for a long time.
Your suggestion is a good one and something I did consider.
My primary goal and what I was trying to address with the “pause ironrur” modifier is that if I kill a pack and at the end spend my rage and cast a fresh ironfur I may end up defenseless by the time I walk over to the next pack of 4. I then have to build rage up to the point I can start to cast ironfur again.
That travel time from pack to pack, if ironfur drops, is the most dangerous time to be a fluffy bear.
Shift allows me to bank the rage and then start the next pull with enough rage to start casting ironfur immediately.
Let me look at this again to see if I can combine it all into shift without causing issues of me standing there auto attacking (what I ran into the first time).
Side note if I get it working and add defensives to another modifier: you will run the risk of double casting defensives if your are spamming the sequence mindlessly (which I LOVE doing). You will have to control yourself
@skoot Thank you for the feedback.
I have never attempted to tank a raid in Midnight, but I do know all the mechanics up to heroic from a DPS standpoint.
Give me some time to read up on it and tank some LFRs to see how it performs.
I’ll report back.
@Lasttry I’m happy to try out this build on a Raid and make some minor tweaks if they make sense.
To be up front, I don’t see me making major changes to include more of the traditional bear tank mechanics like mangle. There are a number of great creators with those builds/sequences here on the forum.
In general, this build shines because of the structure of the move set which matched perfectly with my style of sequence building.
But I will try it out and see because I like you, I’m not normally a raider
Last night I did my highest key with the sequence, a Skyreach +14 that we 2 chested. I think I used defensive cooldowns once. I’ve updated the top post if you’d like to see it.
I lvoe the new version, I mean your first version was great, but this is fantastic. Not much in the way fo feedback on how it works, but more of a praise post and reply.
