ALT/SHIFT/CTRL mod keys not working

So I’ve been trying to rebind the alt key on my keyboard to the discord push to talk key `. I want this rebind to only to work while in wow. I have tried SO MANY THINGS in ahk. And many things work outside of wow, but when I open up wow and press lalt, instead of ` being sent, lalt is sent instead. It’s been driving me nuts.
