The MOONSPAM macro is a normal in game macro. Hit escape go to macros and paste the code there. You don’t need to drag it anywhere as it will call on it from your macro spellbook.

The reason for the MOONSPAM macro is to allow you to cast moonfire anytime you switch targets. If you don’t care for that you can use a modifier or use the mouseover macro in the second post.

The M+ macro really casts a limited amount of spells. It aims to keep Thrash, Mangle, and Barkskin on CD and than fills any other global with Moonfire. Oak used swipe as a filler but in the guides it suggests never using swipe so I removed it and increased moonfire uptime instead. I should run some numbers though and see if there is a target break where swipe is better to cast but I’m guessing its on 8+ targets. You would loose the healing from all the extra moonfires however so even then I don’t think it would be worth it.

It can be. In single target raid situations it definitely is as you can cat weave when off tanking. In M+ it can sometimes be but its comp dependent and you really want a healer who knows your damage intake. The damage for DotC is amazing but the ravage procs are so random and slow that it can cause some really long periods with no defensives up and thats dangerous when in a pug which is what this macro is primarily aimed for.

I would also say the a DotC macro will never be as efficient as an Elune one as the Elune build has only a single rage spender with no conditionals on it and everything else just wants to be spammed on CD, with the moonfire filler which is what GSE macros do best.

I’ve moved to +8’s and I’m starting to feel like I’m reaching the limits of the macro with 612 gear. Some of this is definitely over tuned trash packs that will likely see a nerf (last couple of packs in GB and such.) My health went down faster than cheese curds at a county fair… On the other hand looking through the meters it looks like I was not the healers priority (number 3 healed target) so it might have been a string of interesting healers.

There is better uptime on thrash during incarn and its more likely to use thrash on pull sooner. You are still going to want to use that first global to cast Lunar Beam though.

id like to state, I tried this macro last night, the AOE only in my 1st m+ key of the season. I did a SOB 6 and a SV7 at 599 ilvl. using the macro and the preferred m+talents. I felt strong af, I felt tanky I felt like a bear. I wasn’t afraid for threat at all, I rolled my externals / larger defensives as I saw fit and the macro kept the smaller mitigations rolling with no issue. I was able to hold threat on pretty much everything. I really thank you for coming up with this macro. I think im on the cusp of carpal tunnel from years of pc gaming and I have a strained thumb from usage of the mmo mouse. for years of doing my rotation with my thumb it has caught up on me. how ever I have the confidence to push m+ and start tanking. I was feral but im going to full swap to bear now. thank you again!

Hello, i noticed that on the changelog you mentioned that the alt modifier fires frenzied regeneration and thats working fire, and the shift fires incapacitating roar but that one is not working.

At some point in one of the updates I changed that particular line. I have another project I’m working on today but in the meantime you can change

Well I made the tanking video I talked about. I apologize in advance for the bad audio. I’ve never talked on the mic before except for raids and the sound check didn’t sound this bad. I’ll try to figure out how to correct it before making the next video. Just passed 2500 io on the Guardian druid with this macro. The only change I made was removing Barkskin from the rotation so I could use it when I wanted. but other than that, the macro works great!
