[GSE 3.0] Xinterp's 9.1 BM Hunter ST/AoE PVE - 2 Macros - Updated: 7/4/2021

Overview:

If you use this macro, please be sure to like the post so I know it helped you!

I run this @85ms.

Flare, Wild Spirits, Freezing Trap, Tar Trap, Concussive Shot, Tranquilizing Shot, Counter Shot, Exhilaration, Feign Death, Aspect of the Cheetah, and Aspect of the Turtle will all need to be ran on your bar to use as utility when needed.

Intimidation is Mod Alt.
Barbed Shot is Mod Ctrl.

NOTE:

This macro is meant to have two versions per set. Version 1 is for when you’re in the overworld questing, which should keep mend pet on your pet as much as possible for survivability. Version 2 is the instance version of the macro which is for raids/dungeons/timewalking/etc where survivability is more on your healer and not yourself. Please be mindful to focus your pet when in the overworld and focus a Tank when in an instance.

Macro Info:

In Instances you will need to manually keep your Barbed Shot up by pressing CTRL.

I just imported a macro, the character burned through all the accessories and hits an auto attack

I’m unable to replicate the issue you’re having.
Are you running the macro at 85ms with the same talents?
Ignore Wild Spirits. That was a manual cast on a single target (Habit).

Edit: You may want to turn off trinkets if it’s stalling post trinket for GSE 3.0.

I keep getting “I need a target” over and over and over even while targeting a dummy

Is this localized to the Single Target or AoE Macro?

Seems to be single target only // Running AHK at 100MS

Thank you for the information.
Looking into this now.

No worries, I’ll try to help as best I can! I did download and icon both macros as well just as an FYI in case you think I missed one

Can I have you re-test the Single Target again?
I want to see if the /targetenemy [noharm, dead] may be causing the issue.

I do get a “You have no target” issue popping up, but that’s Misdirection not having a focus target, which shouldn’t affect anything prior to no focus.

I deleted the macro, added back the one on here, still getting the “I need a target” spam

Is this happening on both macros or just one?

Single target Macro,

Updated ST, let me know if that fix worked.

Ok, The reason it keeps saying no target is because it is looking for a target for misdirection, set your focus to your pet and it goes away. I have tried to edit the macro “in raw form” to add Hunters mark in single target and set misdirection to the pet always, but it just kills the macro. I have no idea how to add these to the Macro in this version.

Ok IF you replace the variable cast @focus Misdirection with /cast [@focus,help,nochanneling][help][@pet,exists,nochanneling] Misdirection it permanently sets misdirection to your pet this works fine for me and you do not get the error message. What I need help with is where do i put “/cast Hunter’s Mark”

I haven’t tried it yet, but can you put “/castsequence [nochanneling] reset=target Hunter’s Mark" on keypress?

Sorry for the slow responses everyone!

@Gunzilla_1478 I didn’t even think about that. I have an error suppression script to suppress the errors that pop up. This apparently affects “I don’t have a target” stuff that pops up as well. Your statement is correct. I will be changing this soon.

@Hunter1 I feel no need to put Hunter’s Mark on anything as it doesn’t feel beneficial. If you wish to hard cast it, it’s there for you to do so. It doesn’t benefit your pet staying alive, or you dealing damage. And since it’s utility, it should be treated on an as-is basis. Wasting a GCD on each new mob you target regardless of it’s stealth status seems like a waste of a GCD.

I throw it in for Torghast, and I usually just leave it there.

your AOE dont have kill command…
for auto misdirection on pet
/cast [@focus,help,nochanneling][help][@pet,exists,nochanneling] Misdirection
in DGs focus the tank

It doesn’t seem to be casting Cobra Shot at all…
