Can we get the old version back? It was working perfectly well. Loads of issues now. I can’t even create any macros ingame. Won’t save anything.

I think you’ve missed the part where Blizz has fully changed the macro and addon system, which is the reason for the major update to GSE.

when I try to create a sequence and save it, it says “save pending for new sequence” and then nothing happens. deleted all GSE related files and reinstalled the addon. didnt help.
UPDATE: I went in and deleted all my old macros from the old version of GSE, then it started to import and work!
When I go to import a macro, I paste and hit import , the import window goes away and then nothing happens. Did all the usual, reinstall, delete addons etc. So I am at a loss…
In the WOW options under key bindings, there is a check box for character specific key bindings, see if that works.

Hi Oak. I was FREAKING OUT this morning trying to figure out how to use the new GSE until I came across your videos. They are well done step-by-step tutorials that got me up and running again. Appreciate you 
with the new changes blizz made to how macros work this is the way now. Youll just have to use new key binds or click your flying abilities now.

I am in the same boat, have tried every thing in every help video and suggestions. Will not import or save any sequences.
so i tried to key bind (totally new to all this i play on a mac pro no mouse number buttons as only have one hand and previous macros are on numbers) so managed to get two dh havoc ones i had before but what goes onto the action bar? i think I’ve assigned and imported both macros but what goes in the action bar ? it used to have the wee symbol picture associated with the old macros - all this is stressing me out lol

nothing, once they are on keybinds you dont have them on ur acion bar, but u can dl the weakaura so u can see what its actually casting if u like that
You can also go into edit mode and use one of those action bars to put the spells with cds on there to see if they are firing off.

I am lev3el 70 and just tried this but getting a LUA error. It keeps repeating Interface/AddOns/GSE/API/Storage.lua:558: attempt to index local ‘spellinfo’ (a nil value)
