Guardian Druid - V6 Updated 04-02-26 | GSE Tank Macro - Elune's Chosen / M+ Raze Build

:clipboard: Overview

This macro was built for Midnight Season 1 Mythic+, tuned around Elune’s Chosen hero talent tree. V6 uses a Reverse Priority Loop architecture. The core design solves the rage competition problem between Ironfur and Raze - Ctrl delivers Ironfur on demand, freeing rage for Raze to fire consistently throughout the rotation.

Design goals:

:shield: Ironfur is delivered on demand via Ctrl - press it on dangerous packs, not every GCD :crescent_moon: Lunar Beam fires automatically when available via the [known:] guard :axe: Raze fires as an active rotation contributor at 5+ CPM in real dungeon content :dog: Barkskin fires automatically on cooldown - no manual management needed :warning: reset=target Warning: Because sequences reset on every new target, be careful where you aim. If your camera or cursor passes over a mob you didn’t intend to engage, the /targetenemy line may pull something you didn’t want. Pause the macro rather than holding it down while repositioning in crowded areas.

What is not in the macro and why:

:bullseye: Trinkets are not included - too situational, bind manually :shield: Survival Instincts is intentionally excluded - bind it manually for precise emergency use :no_entry: Incapacitating Roar is not in the macro - bind it manually

:keyboard: Modifier Keys

Key | Action
Shift | Frenzied Regeneration - press when health drops
Ctrl | Ironfur - press on dangerous packs for on-demand armor stacking
Alt | Unused

:shield: Survival Instincts is intentionally left out - bind it manually for emergency situations where you need precise control. Incapacitating Roar stays on a separate manual keybind as well.

Ctrl is your primary Ironfur delivery. The macro fires one auto Ironfur alongside Barkskin in the loop, but the expectation is that you press Ctrl on dangerous packs. This keeps rage available for Raze rather than burning it on automated Ironfur every GCD.

:wrench: Setup & Usage Tips

  • Import the GSE macro string into GSE
  • Import the talent string in-game via the Talents panel
  • Drag the macro to your action bar and bind it to a key
  • The import includes a standalone MOONSPAM macro that should create automatically. If it does not, create it manually: /castsequence [nomod, nochanneling] reset=target Moonfire, Null, Null
  • Keep Survival Instincts on a separate manual keybind
  • Keep Incapacitating Roar on a separate manual keybind
  • Press Ctrl proactively on big pulls and dangerous packs
  • Use Shift before taking big hits, not after you’re already low

waiting for Druid of the Claw + Red Moon

Why is the Heart of the Wild talent picked? Your macro cannot use it.

Thank you for your question. I see that I didn’t address that in my “Setup & Usage Tips” I went ahead and added a section there explaining my use of the spell in my talents. But in short, it is basically a situational spell that I use manually. LMK if there are any other questions.

Having some fun with this one. Works very well in m0.

it is realy nice macro verry good, but the qwestion is on what speed the macro 100 or 250ms?

Excellent, I’m happy that you’re enjoying it. I don’t really know about how fast I just hit the keybinding with my finger very fast.

I’m also pretty sure that it’s against the rules to talk about that. Please let me know how you do with this macro. I’m really interested to find out. I’m having very good luck with it.

Hello, I really like the macro, it’s quite fluid, but on startup it casts all the defensive cooldowns, including Survival Instinct.

i have remove Raze from the macro becose i am ranning build withaut raze it insame and i have remove 2min defensive cooldowns, doing + 12 withaut problem, but the macro samtimes stop working needto re eneble it,

Hey Jovapz, good catch, you’re absolutely right about Survival Instincts. It’s a 3‑minute cooldown, and blowing it on the opener of every pull is a real problem. That’s getting pulled out of the V6 loop and moved to a manual keybind so you can control exactly when it goes off.
Barkskin is staying automated, though. It’s a 1-minute cooldown with no resource cost, and there’s no downside to pressing it on cooldown. You want it firing every time it’s available. You can always disable this block in V6 if you don’t want it. So in V6, SI is out of the macro, keep it on its own key, and use it when you see a big hit coming.

Thanks for the feedback. V6 is coming.

Hey kisliks, glad it’s performing well at +12! If you’re running a build without Raze talent, then removing it from the macro is absolutely the right call. The macro is tuned around a specific talent setup, so adjusting it to match your build makes perfect sense.

Worth knowing, though, the Season 1 4-piece tier set bonus is built directly around Raze. Moonfire ticks have a chance to make your next Raze strike again at 100% effectiveness, and Raze gets a 5% increased chance to activate Galactic Guardian. Once you have the 4-piece, the Raze build pulls ahead significantly in how well it syncs with the gear.

I have been looking at building a non-Raze version of the macro as well. I just wanted to get the Raze build fully dialed in first. That’s coming.

On the macro stopping and needing to be re-enabled, can you share your talent string? That will help me figure out what’s causing it. If the macro is calling a spell that isn’t in your talent build, it can cause the sequence to stall, and your talent string will tell me exactly what we’re working with.

i am playing with this build

CgGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgZmZmFzMjZWmZxMPwMLLDMbGGNRmZWGzMzsMzMAAAAAAMzsYGYZbmBjZZAMFAAAYDzMALGDDMYDwMDA

it not so super with dps but i did 14m+ key

Till now i dont have 4pc set so yes till then i will play withaut Raze later on will chenge

Hi, so can you make no razer gse build ?

Hey kisliks, you’re already on the right track. Without the 4-piece tier set, Raze loses a lot of its value, so running Maul until you get the set bonus makes total sense.

You don’t need a separate macro for this. Just open the macro in GSE and in every block that contains Raze, change Raze to Maul. That’s the entire modification - the loop structure, modifiers, and everything else stays exactly the same. Once you get your 4-piece, swap Maul back to Raze, and you’re good to go.

LMK if this works for you.

Hrllo one more time i have 4 pc set i try it with raze and there i have a problem the raze is not working correktly, the gse try to use it but it skips alot of time, withaut raze i have way more dps then with raze so my qwestion is is it me doing samthing wrong or gse is bugd,

And thx for all your work i have forget to say it ;(

Hey kisliks, Raze skipping is expected behavior. It only fires when you have enough rage available. If you’re pressing Ctrl to stack Ironfur on a dangerous pull, Raze gets skipped until rage builds back up. That’s the macro working correctly, not a bug.

One thing worth checking is how quickly you are pressing the keybind. If you’re pressing it faster than the GCD can process each step, the loop doesn’t get enough time to evaluate and fire Raze before the next press comes in. Try pressing the key a bit less frequently and see if Raze starts landing more consistently. The macro needs room to breathe between presses to work through its rotation properly.

I just ran a +10 Skyreach with this exact macro, and here are the numbers:

Raze: 67 casts, 6.96% of total damage
Ironfur: 78.00% uptime
Barkskin: 35 casts, automated on cooldown
Lunar Beam: 35 casts
Moonfire: 93.19% dot uptime

With the 4-piece tier set, the Celestial Might proc was active 56% of the time, that’s the Moonfire tick triggering bonus Raze strikes. That feedback loop is what makes Raze worth using over Maul now that you have the set. Give it another go with a slightly slower key press and let me know how it feels.
