I just tried an m0 with this it seemed to really struggle the group had half decent gear. I had to switch to manual healing halfway as everyone was dying unless i was doing something wrong. I set focus blasted away used my shields and manual divine toll
I just did a major update on this GSE Sequence ahead of Mythics + and Raids starting next week!
It does much better now, so much more control over what is needed, single target healing, aoe healling, or simply doing some DPS.
Hi thank you for the work on the sequence. I am new to holy and this way of playing as a whole. Just so I understand are the macros baked into the sequence so If i want to heal the tank for example I can hover over the tank or their nameplate and hold the button for single target and ti will heal them direct from the macro? Looking forward to the youtube video to explain when you have time. Thanks again
Yes, all these macros are built into the sequence.
You can use mouseover for sure, it also has target’s target logic built into it.
I do have multiple video sequences already, will be posting something soon.
That is some crazy tech and whole lot of work thank you.
So basically just to clarify I just need to be in melee range and be using the macro? Im a little bit confused about the single target and aoe button would that be for single target as in a boss or single target healing? when would I use each of the two Also how do I keep myself up healh wise is there a way to force heal myself or would it be just rely on the aoe healing?. Sorry for what might seem like really basic questions as I said new to all of this.
It depends what you are trying to do.
If you are using the DPS sequence, the spender is Shield of the Righteous.
That ability is ‘melee’ and enemies need to be in front of you.
The other abilities that are casted on enemies have longer range such as:
The single target healing sequence will try to perform the following abilities:
-Avenging Wrath : no target is necessary
-Judgment : It will try to pick a target in front of you if you don’t have one already selected and cast Judment on it.
-Holy Shock : If you want to heal an ally, mouse over it. If you don’t mouse over an ally, it will heal your target’s target, usually the tank or the person who has aggro. Else, if all conditions fail, it will Holy Shock at your target.
-Eternal Flame : You should mouseover an ally to heal that person. If you don’t mouseover anyone, it will heal your target’s target which is usually the tank or the person that has aggro. If all conditions fail, it will heal you.
-Flash of light : You should mouseover an ally to heal that person. If you don’t mouseover anyone, it will heal your target’s target which is usually the tank or the person that has aggro. If all conditions fail, it will heal you.
-Beacon of Virtue : You should mouseover an ally to cast healing of virtue on that person. If you don’t mouseover anyone, it will cast it on your target’s target which is usually the tank or the person that has aggro. If all conditions fail, it will cast it on you.
The Single target healing sequence is meant to heal a single target with Eternal Flame (the spender ability) and all other builder abilities on that sequence.
The AOE healing sequence is meant to heal multiple persons with Light of Dawn (the spender ability) and all other builder abilities on that sequence.
When would you use one or the other? If 1 person needs healing, use the single target healing sequence. if multiple persons need healing, use the AOE healing sequence.
If you need to keep yourself up health wise, mouseover yourself to heal you as you use any of the two healing sequences.
Also probably a really dumb question but the hover is that that actual charcter or the raid/party frames?
works with both, you can mouseover an individual frame, party frame, raid frame, or the actual character on screen
Thank you. sorry for all the questions.
Hey.
How is it going with this?
Are you healing 10s comfortable ?
Holy Pala will have some buffs on 7 april, so im looking forward to that.
yes, feels good, received good feedback. holy is an off-spec for me so I have less runs with it.
All of these runs were on the 1st week of mythic +, with bad gear
What is your main spec ?
Thanks
retribution
i’m going to try ‘pugging’ some 10’s as a healer to see what happens.
I prefer to go with friends or guild mates, pugging can be toxic lol
Follow my adventures here for the next 2 hours or so
i saw the most of the first run, that looked incredibly painful lol.
Haha indeed, I did two pugs and both were bad groups overall.
People not doing mechanics, dps with aggro over tanks, standing in puddles, no interrupts, lol
At least it was timed
But yeah, I usually go with friends and we do so much better
