OK. I was using a different Devourer build during the Midnight pre-release patch, and I hated DH Dev so much that I just forgot to play it altogether. I saw and tried this one, and it is awesome.
I’m using the full auto version; I’ve yet to see Collapsing Star go off. I don’t see CS in the config. Is it not in there, or am I just killing mobs too fast?
The trinket doesn’t mention it in the description, but the trinket Drum of Renewed Bonds, if in the 13 slot, will pop the error “in the wrong zone,” and it won’t trigger Metamorphosis or Void Ray. Once I switched my trinkets, then Meta and VR worked again.
Works great for the most part (this is no refelction on yourself), a little bit into using it, the spell names will not change back from Devour, Cull or Collapsing Star. causing the sequence to lock up until meta can be cast again, the names then revert to their base variants and the cycle continues.
I’ve run into this issue a few times but it always seems to be n Demon Hunter macros that the issue occurs. Has anybody else ever had this issue?
It works as intented. The normal and meta versions of the spell are cast as needed. If you use the full auto version you don’t need to do anything and it won’t lock up. If you use the manual version only press the meta and eyebeam mods when they are available.
It’s happening on auto and on manual. It’s when the spell names change from Consume>Devour, Reap>Cull and Meta>Collapse.
GSE is supposed to seamlessly swap the names between character forms automatically, but sometimes it gets stuck and doesn’t change them back.
Was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue. As i say, this isn’t a problem with your macro, but if anyone had a solution to it happening, I’m all ears.
When you’re in meta form and and collapse is available to cast it use can use /cast [nochanneling, nomod] Void Metamorphosis GSE doesn’t need to swap anything as it’s handled by wow.
I used this sequence to level from 80->90 and do M0’s flawlessly and getting great dps.
