Leena's TWW 11.1 MM Hunter Solo and Mythic 2.1

I torture some dummies and did some improvements on the rotation, ST is great, AOE still needs work, and I think I’ve solved Hunter’s Mark problem… I hope.

This defeated me in the end as well. It’s a completely viable damage output at 80% depending what content you’re doing. If you’re running 8-12 keys I doubt it’ll be an issue at all, anything over that and I think you’ll handicap the group.

The biggest issue is that if you just pick up a stick and play survival you’ll pull 30% more damage and while that’s possible I’m a stick hunter!

Out of interest, you should experiment with dropping volley all together and making the playstyle significantly easier. The damage loss on sim is about 4% and in practice in a shifting environment I find I actually do more overall damage without it. No cursor placement to worry about, no issue lining things up. I mod my trinkets to the same key as trueshot and use that when required, everything else is one button.

ENEMYMARK
#showtooltip
/cast reset=target 257284, null

Should be:

#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=target 257284, null

i.e. it has to be a sequence to have the reset condition

Love the macro! I am having an issue however. In the AOE Macro, version 2, the Volley is not firing at the cursor location and is instead firing at my character location. Ive gone through the coding but it all seems fine, any suggestions?

You need to change an settings on wow options. Is in the note on the bottom of the main post.

I am so sorry for that lol. I saw your note just a bit ago and came back to remove my post. Thank you for your efforts!

I asked this question before but still like to get some answers and maybe someone can help. Can someone in verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy “macros for dummies” explain the dynamic between ST and MT. Of course MT is for 3 or more. But how do you switch. So let’s say you have 8 mobs you ofc use MT but how long do you hold MT. is it based on the amount of mobs left? And if so then you switch to ST. Are these type of switches having an impact on spell cooldowns?

Next update I will probably get rid of Volley and Salvo, depending on the chenges. But I’m sure I will do my best to improve it.

I use two keybinds on my mouse, wherever I see less than 2 mobs I switch to ST. I use toggled buttons, turning them on and off on demand

Thanks for replying and I do something similar but on my keyboard. The thing is however ( and this is macro specific ) I get the feeling that my dps is not optimal. But on ST I’m always pumping hence my question. So I get it more than 2 or 3 mobs hold MT when below that number switch to ST

MM DPS is indeed a little low right now. The macro needs more improvements, but is hard as F to do it. I’m waiting for the next patch to do some changes.

Bad news for MM Hunters… the specs got a lot of changes and new mechanics. I will take some time to update this sequence. The new talents need to be analyzed and a completely new sequence be made.
