Leena's TWW 11.1 MM Hunter Solo and Mythic 2.1

i feel like on aoe is being very inefficient, you are not using aimed shot or arcane shot at all, it feels like you are not doing anything until your big cd come out again,is that how its builded the macro? or is an error on my part?

I think is something at your side. I test all my macros on different situations to make sure is working.
I need to know some things. You wow is in English? How much ms is set? Which key is binded and how you press it?

Can I ask why you got ! before multi-shot and in single before aimed shot if im not wrong

This is for priority, the skill with ! will always be casted before any other in the castsequence.

Ah thank you for a quick reply :stuck_out_tongue: and if I could ask what ms you use in gse because sometimes it takes like 2 seconds to fire a skill I think it’s on my end but just wondering

Thank you for an awesome Macro!!! Like holy! I’ve been testing it on Target dummies with a tiny modification in Talent (used the recommended from Archon.gg) I’m able to sustain a 4.5mil burst for 2min. Which is more than enough for any M+ fight.

ilvl is: 648 - No tier pieces - just transitioning a lot of pieces from S1.

 :fire:

I always recommend a little lower than your in game ms. Mine is a little high (180 usually) and I set to 150. For me is perfect, for you I recommend testing. But around 100 is the sweet spot.

the ! used in a macro is for a toggleable ability, like this:

/castsequence reset=target aimed shot, !autoshoot

when you use it like this
/castsequence reset=target aimed shot, !arcane shot

it completely ignores the exclamation point (!) since arcane shot is not a toggleable ability

It’s set priority. This is very old on WoW, on the old days of TBC it was used by Hunter’s Steady Shot to not use Steady Shot in place of Auto Shot (by the time Auto Shot was useful). Setting it up like “/castsequence reset=3.11 Steady Shot, !Auto Shot” (where 3.11 is a representation of the weapon attack delay plus .11) this way, by the time this was useful, the Auto Shot had priority over Steady Shot.
In my macro is to set firing priority, to not fire Multi-Shot after Aimed Shot. For exemple.

The only way i’ve seen it used in the way you’re describing is in instances of a channeled spell that you didnt want to clip, like magic missile.

/cast !magic missile

you could spam it, and it would always finish it’s channel before starting another one.

Not trying to be argumentative at all, but I think i understand now what you’re saying.

It’s not that it gives the spell priority, its more that it’s allowing the spell with the ! to finish what it’s doing before executing the previous command. (my understanding of what you’re saying combined with my own LONG AGO usage of macros of this type).

The only reason I made the post above, is that I was also confused by your use of it in your macro, while testing it against my own and so I had to go look it up myself which is where I found the reference to it only being used for toggleable abilities.

With that being said, I was stuck trying to get my own mm macro to get any closer to sim, and so I was checking out some of the options that other authors use.

I do like the way you’ve structured some of your abilities, and while it was completely different from my own, they were basically on par with each other, so whatever you’re doing at least it’s doing a good job

Ooooh the usage of ! on cast and castsequence is different.
When you use castsequence the spells written there can be used out of the sequence, setting the last spell with an ! will set the priority to that one.

@Leena Don’t know if it’s me but what does DG build mean?

DG build is for… Dungeons, Mythic, Group things, where you don’t need your pet to tank.
