Hey all, it’s been a year or two since I wrote my own sequence…big shout out to a former member and Elfyau who do so much work in here! But as you can see the Affliction category hasn’t seen an update in a while so here goes.
First up, to understand my modifiers I use a Razer Tartarus keypad. Mostly with the default settings but the following changes;
15 = my macro keybind - it’s set to push “[“ every 100 ms. I always attach my single target macro to this.
10 = the multi-target macro. Same set up, but pushing “]”
1/2/3 = C, B, M
6/11/16 = Ctrl, Shift, Tab
Alt is the little button (default) to the right of the scroll wheel.
It’s a nice easy layout where I can just hold down 15 and hit the mods with minimal effort.

It’s short and sweet. Hold down ctrl to cast Seed of Corruption, alt for Unstable Affliction and shift for Drain Soul when Nightfall procs (Malefic Grasp when your Darkglare is out)

Trinkets and racials haven’t been added yet, but it’s a work in progress so feel free to offer suggestions!
Against the training dummies, level 80 with an item level of 124 I’m doing around 20k dps. In delves - bit hard to pull out a number as you gain boons and there’s a lot of scaling, but this is my 23rd character levelling up and in terms of all dps specs so far, this one is probably a close second behind the survival hunter.

Update: swapped the alt modifier from Mortal Coil to Unstable Affliction…I think I only used MC twice but was constantly full on shards. There are also two versions, now with a Fel Domination/Summon Demon block if your demon die. Version 2 calls your Voidwalker - it’s the default version meaning whenever you’re out soloing you’ll get that, and version 1 is set for everything else and calls your Felhunter. Obviously if you do delves with Valeera as a DPS or healer then change that setting to 2.
Solid dps now at level 90 and ilevel 246 - against the cleave dummies 110-120K dps over 5 minutes and against the single target raid dummy 40 - 50. Hopefully this comes up with gear!
