My Shadowlands Protection Paladin WoW Lazy Macro Contribution

Hello everyone and thank you for viewing my second post ever to WoW Lazy Macros. Ive been a long time user of GS and GSE and WLM but I have never posted my creations yet. I have been a tank since Mist of Pandaria or maybe even earlier and since then mained Paladin tank. I have played all of the other ones but mostly just to complete the mage tower on them.

Anyways here is my Shadowlands Protection Paladin WoW Lazy Macro. I recently added a few modifiers to prepare the macro to post to the site and cleaned it up a bit. The two macros are the same but one spams Word of Glory and the other Shield of the Righteous. In both of the macros i believe i have different versions with descriptions. I have tried to minimize any extra modifiers or conditionals so the macro is as lightweight and simple as possible. I use them a two part macro where I can spam Shield of the Righteous or if I need heals I can either use the modifier key or quickly switch between the two macros so there is for sure no hang up or holy power issues.

In word of glory I have a version that you can run that heals you or if you mouseover someone, it heals them instead. I have it built into the macro that way so it fires as fast as possible. you can just sit there tanking stuff and go through the list and heal people or yourself. Stuff like that isnt meant for high end game content but I still have it included. I Have Shield of the Righteous on a modifier so you can use it too just in case.

In the Shield of the Righteous macro i have Word of Glory on a modifier so you can mouseover someone and quickly use the modifier key to heal them or yourself.

I hope you give the macros a shot, i have alot of fun using them and have invested alot of time in making them work good, and also thank you for viewing.

Run at 70 to 100ms

hey dude checking these out now but SoTR wont import WoG does

Thank you for the heads up, i updated so it should work now and have no clue what that other code was then. Did you get prompted by the addon when importing WoG that its not made for this version of the game?

no just said it couldnt import

ok, i immediately updated the SotR earlier, were you able to import it after that?

Both macros works like a charm, Prot & Ret.
Do u plan to do macros for other classes too?

I guess i could but I main paladin and its the only class I have at 60. That being said I think it would be a little harder to make macros for those classes that work highly efficiently. I could go in and add spells to the macro and stuff but I guess I would have to research the priority system and stuff.

If you have any specific macros you would like let me know and I can then go make one

What is the difference between 2 macros?

One is supposed to cast Shield of the Righteous on CD and the other cast Word of Glory on CD. They should essentially be the same except for that. I need to edit them all though being as I recently realized that I have been posting read only macros.

Macros code has been re-posted being as it was accidentally posted as read only at first. I have also updated them both. Let me know if there are any issues.

Hey so I was playing around with this one today & can’t seem to get Seraphim to ever go off in version 1. Any ideas? I’m running it at 100ms.

I added a modifier key to seraphim so it casts in place of SotR. I didnt update the WoG macro, just this the SotR one. Please copy over the format to the other if needed there too.

Here is the updated macro

Thanks! Is there anyway that I can add WOG to a different modifier?

I’d like to be able to hold down shift to cast Seraphim & alt to cast WOG but I can’t seem to figure out how to get the macro to do that lol.

just change the mod:alt or whatever it is to mod:shift

I want to be able to have the option to swap between casting either WOG or Seraphim.

Where it will not spend holy power on SOTR when I have either modifier held down. If that makes any sense.

I’ve tried this with no luck, but I’m not very good at macro coding so…

/cast [combat, mod:shift] Seraphim; [mod:Alt,@mouseover,help,nodead] [mod:Alt,@player] Word of Glory; [combat] Shield of the Righteous

well that is really weird because that is written perfectly and works exactly as you intended for me.

I got it to work now  Had a typo.

Can we get an update for these two macros for GSE 3? These were the best to use in my experience!

I made an updated Macro based off this one for GSE3, hope it helps.

still work fine for me
