Oak Ret Pally Macro DF 10.2.6/7 - Season 4 Update #3 - UPDATED BASIC VERSIONs (4/27/24)

Another note: Whenever I do another update, I’m just gonna remove V2 out of the original macro sequences as these new macros basically do what V2 did.

where is talents? sorry if they here and im just missing them lol

check the OP and you will see the link Oak posted. also might be in the actual macro once you open it in GSE.

@OAK is there anyway we could get a version with no modifiers at all or one where shift isn’t used i tried to change macro to not use shift but can never get it to work

Nah, I wont be making that. You can make that yourself. If you never hold shift and alt at the same time, then this will do what you want. If you really want to modify it (cant see why you would) just take every line out that has a mod:shiftalt in it. THE WHOLE LINE starting with the /

so this macro is better than the previous ones?

hmmm after using it, it doenst feel as smooth.

if you dont pay attention and activate shfit alt when 2 or more of the abilities are available it will hang and do nothing.

like after the 1st rotation when all cds are shift alted, thn next upcoming rotation that you have to use shift alt on are execution sentence and wake.
but if you dont do it right away-- the macro hangs.

once you activate it is goes again.

i know you put in a lot of work, and im not a progm genius to do it-- but maybe a weakaura for your macros at this point would be best if you are going to be 100% reliant on cd modifiers?

you see now that wings can be made to have 100% uptime in tww

thanks for the replay i never use the mods and only ever used version 1 lazy and wanted shift alt and ctrl for other moves full cleared mythic raid (season 3) with lazy version and was mostly top 3 dps so it works great without mods so if i remove all the lines mod:shiftalt in it. THE WHOLE LINE starting with the /
would that be the same for nomod lines as well sorry for being a nub but i did try and mess with the macro a few times and could never get to to work with removing all the shift mods from it

Wow. Thank you so much! You went above and beyond sir. I appreciate you, and I just got you a coffee

@punahou The different macros can be used in conjunction. The new ones were created to allow the base rotation to continue in those situations where you know you will need your CDs soon and want to hold them. Yes, the new one requires you to watch your CDs. There are a ton of weakauras out there that will watch them for you. I use the Luxthos weakauras. But one macro is no better than the other, and you can use them together. It’s your choice. Be lazy use the older ones. OR, watch your coolies and use the new one. Also, yes, I am very excited for TWW.

@Fingerz No, you would not remove the nomod lines. Just the ones with the modifiers.

@thesefeveredtimes Thank you very much. I hope these work well for you. I have been using the new ones, watching my cooldowns, and when Avenging Wrath, Final Reckoning, and Divine Toll are on CD, I just hold Shift+Alt for a surge of damage. It’s allowed me to get Keystone Hero this week.

What is this Hammer of light line for? I don’t see an ability or talent for that?

Ignore that for now. Hopefully that will work when TWW comes for the Templar hero build.

Hey Oak, is this the latest edition with auto CDs for both Single and AOE?

You would only need to remove the “nomod:alt/shift” if you wanted to use those as mods for other things. For example (in M+), the way I like to play is to have the AOE macro on one key, and the ST macro on a shift version of that key (e.g. 1 for AOE and shift+1 for ST). This would not work if I didn’t remove the nomod:alt/shift from those lines that contain it as I’m using shift, which would stop it from casting the nomod lines.

Here are my edited versions

thats how i play as well thanks for the edit but Divine Storm never gets used when u edit the macro thats what ended up happing to me every time i tried to remove all the shift modifiers i have no idea why it works fine when i dont have aoe on shift but i like st on 1 button and aoe on shift

Works just fine for me. For M+ it makes more sense to have AOE on the main key and ST on shift as you are using AOE for most of the dungeon.

yea thats what i ended up doing lol just hit 2700 thanks for the edit
