I can try to add that if you think it’ll be helpful.
Hallo have you got the 3.9 version off your Makro i like this more than the new one ??
honestly dont think its worth it im never using a wog on other people i use everything else for them but wog is like a dks death strike thats for me only could you read my above message though please
Hi, thank you for great macro. It performs great!
I wanted to modify it a bit and I am not sure if it’s even possible. What I am trying to do is I want macro to cast Shield of the Righteous normally as it is in macro now, but with specified modifier I want World of glory to be cast, but not only the one on proc but I want macro to keep rolling and generating holy power so that next time I have 3 holy power and mouseovering friendly nameplate, World of Glory is cast on them. I know how to write World of Glory macro, the issue is I don’t know how to make other spells going while modifier + button are being smashed. I tried for example /cast [mod:shift][nomod] Judgement, or [mod:shift, harm][harm] Judgement, can’t think of anything else that would keep loop going. Now it just casts free WoG and stops with mod pressed.
Something I’ve found that gives me a lot more flexibility and range of choices is moving the modifier keys outside the sequence blocks and onto the actual keybinds themselves. For example you referenced the shift modifier, well I use the number 2 to fire my macros and I set the keybind for SHIFT+2 to fire a completely separate macro to the one fired if I’m only pressing 2.
In your example you could copy over the entire macro and replace the normal spenders with a word of glory mouseover, that way the macro will continue to build holy power to be spent on Word of Glory, then as soon as you let go of SHIFT it will go right back into spending it on the normal spenders.
As an example for my druid I have my keybinds set up like this:
Just make sure you click this button on the character keybindings as to not mess up other characters with macros that don’t use macros this way:
Hello, I am new to gse, I just downloaded and used your macro along with your talent build for Light Smith. The problem I am running across is in the first block. For some reason after using avenger’s shield it does not cast concencration. I either need to cast it myself or wait 12 plus seconds for it to cast concencration. Anyone run across a similar issue?
Hi @cryptonewb ! the cast of consacration is actually far down the sequence table, so it does make sense that it will not be casted as much or as sonner as we like to hard press it. One suggestion, and sorry @Orbalisk if I did something you willing, is that you move the block with consecration cast 1 or 2 blocks up and add another (copy + paste) identical block right at the end of it all. This will have the sequence cast it more often and faster
Maybe I am misunderstanding something but in the version I have 4.3 I believe. Block 1 shows the cast sequence macro /cast sequence Avenger’s Shield, Consecration. Doesn’t that mean that the consecration cast is in the first block? It definitely starts off with Avenger’s Shield so I believe it is using the first block but the cast sequence is not casting concecrate after Avenger’s shield. Again i apologize if misunderstanding something.
The more things get spammed, the less other things get spammed. I prioritized builders and spenders in the sequence to maximize SoR uptime. I hid Consecration behind Avenger’s Shield so it doesn’t get spammed in place of builders. It should go down plenty after thing start firing off.
@cryptonewb it’ll depend on how the sequence runs between packs and time out of combat, it’s really up to the configuration you set under GSE general options. More or less if you didn’t change a thing, the option to reset out of combat and restart the macro to block 1 will not happen that often. What I learn from using GSE is that you need to set some minor timming out of combat and also add another block of what you want to cast more.
Mainly as @Orbalisk said, it does fire off quite often for me, not really spamming the cast, but it does fire off quite often.
@Dionysus37 @Orbalisk I have the same issue; in my case, Shield of the Righteous doesn’t activate
Hey Orb. One thing I have noticed is that consecration isn’t coming off as much as it should. I think this is a DPS focused rotation but we should have a 100% uptime on consecrate for survival. Could you make a version that puts consecration into the rotation a bit more often? or advise here how to do so? right now it comes down 1-2 seconds after the first one wears off, and i want to overlap a bit ( in cases where you need to move, dodge something, etc. you are basically outside of the area for a good 5-7 seconds )
I will work on that when I get an opportunity this week, and make it a different version so that people can choose between higher defensive or higher damage.
Ya love it. Just when you do 10+ def need more def aka more consecration.
I’m playing a Prot Warrior in Classic, but I’ll log into retail and mess with this today or tomorrow to see what I can do.
Been loving the macro lately, but having dipped into mythic raid lately, is there a way to make Avengers Shield fire off more often while Moment of glory is active?
@Orbalisk thank you for taking the time to make this… I hate to ask after all your hard work but due to my tremors and sometimes seizures I am unable to to make use of the additional keys… is there any way to have just a single button macro? If not I’ll make do without the additional abilities through shft/alt/ctrl buttons but figured I would ask… thank you again!!
I would recommend some foot pedals and bind those to the keys for modifiers. There are a few companies that make them and they’re pretty nifty. Rebuke and Hammer of Justice aren’t really needed IN the macro and you can cast those another way. Word of Glory is in the macro for ease of use so you don’t overspend on SoR, but I don’t know how to remove that and still make it reliably cast without consuming SoR on cooldown.
didn’t even think about foot pedals… I will definitely look into that… appreciate the tip!!
Orbalisk does this macro work good for Raid ST?
