Orbalisk’s - Mythic+ for Mythic+ v. 3.4e (Updated 03/29/25)

Yes. It’s the standard imo. I have users sending me 10+ clears so it’s working well. I’m going to start tanking to KSH on prot warrior this weekend.

i got my prot warrior to 2400io using you macro in 2.2 version, ill try 2.4 today.

What Version If that’s a Thing are you playing
Option 1 or 2?

i play with version 1

I got 2500 rio before nerf / latest patch with 2.2.

Played it when i got back recently and saw 2.4 today. With 2.4 i feel something is wrong… somehow I lose agro more often now. Happens too often, when before it never happened.

People stronger or just less thunderclaps now?

Hmm. There should be more claps, specifically more Thunder Blasts now. I’ll look at it and see if I can spot anything different.

2.4 Mountain Thane:

Sim Actual (93% to sim):

Sim Potential:

Buff uptime:

Casts: TB - 23 / TC - 32 / SS - 38 / Revenge - 30

2.2 Mountain Thane

Sim Actual (93% to sim):

Casts: TB - 23 / TC - 34 / SS - 44 / Revenge - 24

Your intuition is correct. I will revert 2.2 into 2.5 with the build changes. Damage overall output was the same, but I got several more Shield Slams, and a few less Revenge. :fire:

New build in the OP thanks to Retrillion.

Hiya,
So agro was indeed affected by 2.4, no?
And is 2.5 the new “optimised” 2.2 now or should i take safe bet and continue with 2.2. I mean why fix something thats not broken, or was something broken with 2.2?

Btw i recommend these talents if you want more tankiness for higher keys.

Because version numbers and people not reading the thread for updates. If I make it anything other than the next version up I get a lot of questions. It’s just easier for me.

which part of these talents give you “More tankiness”? all you’ve done is linked the meta talents that is used for premade groups…

I usually grab the top talents from Murlok.io and they work well. The build that Retillion gave me works extremely well for me in 10s, and it increases the uptime on Shield Block to almost 100% from 85-90%.

you dont play double sheild wall?

So you mean the lack of spell block?
Lack of the talent below spell block which is reduce damage taken from Shield slam targets?

There is reason top Rio players are running what they do. But of course they adjust based on dungeons, but I would recommend everyone to never run without spell block. That’s the only useful thing we have if spell reflect is on cd…
our physical defensives are top notch but magical we need all the help.

So tell me instead what the differences are between the two talents we’ve shared and what the benefits are when you compare them?

I’m not really sure this is the place to argue the best builds, you can use whatever build you like. My degree of autism is liking things at 100% or close to it so if I can get shield slam to fire off more items and get 100% shield block with 100% ignore pain, that’s all I really care about.

Lazy macros are made for the masses to be able to play the game with disabilities, not for the highest performing players to do the absolute best endgame content in that top 1%. If you’re going to do the highest end content, my macros will probably still work but I’m not catering towards that group because it’s such a small end of the spectrum. Still, people send me 3K ratings with this setup and whatever build they’re using works fine.

For most people, that one spell may or may not make the difference, but they’re just looking to get through normal and heroic content and probably 10 keys without issue.

This weekend I’m going to be pushing 10 plus to 12 plus keys on this warrior with this build, and I’ll post the results when I’m done. I am definitely not the best player, and I’m much older with slower reflexes and heavy issues with my hands.

Great work, I did two tweaks that works better form me, I added a “/cast [combat] Shield Block” in block 1.5 and replaced the Impending Victory with Thunder Clap in the 1.7 block . I get 99% on shield block uptime around 95 % for ignore pain with 28% haste in an 11.

One note, since pummel is of GCD, I put in on any key and other spells can be put as a mod, mine are the following in each block :
/cast [mod:shift] Storm Bolt
/cast [mod:alt] Shockwave
/cast [mod:ctrl] Impending Victory

I’m always down to test modifications. I always strive to have the peak form of a macro, even if it’s a 1% increase, so thank you. I’m going to try and test it out this weekend when I run keys.

is this macro solved losing aggro problems?

Try it and find out for yourself. It never had an aggro problem, he was talking about percentile decreases, not an overall issue. It has since been remedied.

Works great. No issues.

One thing I noticed is that raidbots sim uses battle stance and doesnt cast impending victory so take that into consideration when comparing to sim.
