Ok, so how your mod is working is since you don’t have a second skill, it’s just going to cast that first skill over and over again. /castsequence Whirlwind, null would make it cast whirlwind and then stop because null isn’t a skill. That’s where reset comes into play. You set reset to target/combat/5 or whaatever as the reset condition. You basically are just casting WW on GCD whenever the sequence cycles back to that block.
i think i figure it out. for some reason null don’t seem to work since it only fire ww once per combat.
i have left /cast Bloodthirst in block 3.1 and put
/castsequence reset=3 Whirlwind, Bloodthirst
in block 3.2
the reset=3 plus natural 2.5 sec cd on bloodthirst seems to block whirlwind from spamming so it has time to use up charges and bloodthirst in 2 places dont seem to clog the flow
I’ve been doing a boatload of tanking and made some tweaks.
3.8 is now at the top and with double the IP uptime.

I continue to use this macro while running Mythics and just general gameplay in Midnight. For the most part it has been working really well and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.
I have noticed that every now and then the rotation seems to have a small hiccup — almost like it pauses for a moment, possibly waiting on abilities like Thunder Clap or Ignore Pain. I’m not entirely sure if that’s due to how the sequence flows or if it’s related to my stats at level 90 since haste is pretty low right now.
That said, the macro has still been performing great overall and has made tanking feel much smoother. I’ll definitely keep using it as I continue pushing content in Midnight.

Do we control the MS of the button presses in GSE itself or is this something I should do on say my mouse software. I have it set to spam the button at 50ms on my logitech mouse software. I’m starting to wonder if it’s maybe to fast and maybe its causing me to be rage starved a little due to the constant shield block and ignore pains going off. I see the shield block charges always overlapping for example.

Can you please be more specific? What do you mean by off? I increased the IP uptime x2 from 3.7, so it should be better. My gear is awful so testing this in a non-training dummy scenario has been a nightmare.
In TWW i could hold it up bye 100 in every fights, i have 17.28% haste, but it can be me there doing something wrong.
No, I’m having the same problem. The requirements and rotation didn’t change, it’s something either with balancing or whatever that ignore pain basically insta-vanishes. Nothing on our end that I can tell. They broke warrior tanking somehow.

Yes, but I’m leveling all my classes and only have so much free time. I’m trying to enjoy the xpac like everyone else. This should be fine as is, I just can’t test it in a dungeon because my gear is poor.
The shield block uptime is 100% and Ignore pain should be the same, but the nerfing to it makes it get used quickly. Shield block is the priority and that’s working just fine.

Do we get more ignore pain with better gear? It feels like it’s just a smidget right now.
Having the same experience. I remember reading about how they “slowed down” prot warrior in midnight compared to how it was in TWW. I only played season one of last xpac, so its been awhile for me. But I remember the macro flowing better and just faster overall.
I do get that hiccup you are talking about, where it kinda just sit there and then I restart macro and then it pops avatar, Tclap etc. Not sure if its a rage thing or not…
Wanted to add, the macro is doing well for me and have cleared all mythic dungeons with no issues.
