One thing that I believe helped the dps was going back to the Feb 25 release of gse 3.3.03.
When I tried the new gse update it had a lot more hangups. Might be worth testing it if you are having issues
I am sure the spell batching and pruning have a LOT to do with this “hangup” issue Ret seems to have here. I think Haste>Mastery is the solution here. I have noticed considerable differences with gearing from that slow & clunky feeling at fresh 85-90 range, but with ilvl 232 atm, and stat prio it’s feeling a lot better.

it’s not preforming much differently vs 3.5 aside from Avenging Wrath not auto popping. 3.5 feels better.
Dang. Ok. It’s going to take me a few weeks to get all of my alts situated and start gearing. I’ve been interrupting my launch playtime fixing sequences as best I can but I’m at a point now where I’ll need to gear them to tweak further.

2.4 with the fix is solid should work into m+ and raid no sweat so level your stuff and enjoy the game bro I pull 69k over all in a zero thats plenty its solid and super close to current Sim as well.

Oh that’s fantastic to hear, thank you. It’ll take me a few weeks to level all my characters and get them in some decent gear so they’re not auto attacking slow.
I’m going to revert back to 2.4 in the original post and delete the other beta, thank you.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned however the current Wowhead build does not take Execution Sentence and it seems that the castsquence is failing to progress and Divine Toll is never being cast.
Confirmed, 2.4 feels much more fluid. I’m sure some tweaks are there but overall will hold it’s own at 237ilvl. 2.5min sustaining 95k dps on aoe dummies, bursting over 200k on the pull. ST is what it is, nothing to frown about here.
To @MadCzar ‘s note. I see that DT & ES are in the first block to be cast with Avenging Wrath, but they are not firring off.
To @Orbalisk I’d recommend focusing on a “no execution sentence” build based around Radiant Glory for a solid consistent dps output every 30sec. Talents below.

Also please take a look at Templar Strike under Retribution talent. When using Templar Strike it changes to Templar Slash which you can use instantly. Thats like 2 holy power it generates with 3 sec coldown.
I’m only lvl 85, can you post a screenshot of the talents please? I can only see up to the level I have unlocked.
M+ talents and 2.4B are up at the top.
This is the test I did this morning with version 2.4 for 5 minutes on the AoE training dummies and 3 minutes in ST

Fixed an issue in 2.4b, with 2.4c. I forgot I removed Execution Sentence and left it in the sequence. Fixed now.
