I’m not doing seal twisting. I believe it’s a waste of time and you can’t sequence it well since it’s required to be the last 0.5 seconds of a swing and that’s different per weapon and I’m just not going to track that stuff. It’s not a gigantic DPS increase and in normal dungeon/raid conditions you’re not going to do it perfectly enough to get the DPS increase to make the added stress worth while, imo.
I’m mostly only playing to PvP with a friend of mine, but I’m definitely not going to be playing to parse raids or anything. I have too much going on in retail.
Thank you. Also, a limitation with GSE is that you can’t down rank spells, so you can’t do a seal at rank 1, then rank 6. It’ll all be at Rank 6, so you’re going to chew through your mana.
If you really need the twisting, you’re going to have to make a separate macro and hit those to twist. You could change block one of my macro to look like this:
/cast Judgement
And then make a macro to twist the seals:
/castsequence reset=target Seal of Crusader(Rank6), Seal of Blood(Rank 1)
Just hit this to rotate them and use the sequence to do everything else.
thx manage seal twisting isnt easy and its mana starving anyway, when I do PVE I use only seal of comand with no twisting at all almost 90 procent of time.good job again
gse sequnce pvp one cast seal of justice rank 2 or rank 1 couse even with apply seal they runing like rabbit in BG,rank 2 should slow players, rank one npc right???
@Orbalisk I love your macros and use them in retail. I am trying this in BC Anniversary. Have you tried it yet in BCA? I know I am leveling and only at lvl 13 atm but it seems to only do an auto attack and the modifier for Hammer of Justice. Is there a certain level you think this will be viable? I have become super lazy from the macros in retail so its just a minor inconvenience to actually manually do rotations again.
It would work as normal tbh, pallies dont get much to level with until 50. Before 50 it is just judge and reapply seal. Only thing I would change when leveling is make it judge then seal, so once in awhile you need to refresh the seal manually if not you can just stand there spamming seal refreshes.
As far as tbc anniversary, how does this handle seal twisting, i know its definitely difficult for a macro to handle tempo of seals so a macro wouldnt help much for ret in tbc?
I don’t waste time on seal twisting. It’s almost impossible to sequence as the timing is rigid and different per weapon. GSE doesn’t work in the way that you’d need it to in order to seal twist effectively. Doing it ineffectively is worse than not doing it, and not doing it is not a huge lose in practical application.
Hey Orbalisk, I’ve been using your sequences for a long time and love them, stepped away from the game for a while and came back for TBC Classic. I have the correct new version of GSE, imported your ret sequence, and can’t get it to fire at all. Not sure what I may have screwed up, but hoping for a bit of guidance… i’ve been looking for videos, faq’s and whatever else I can find, but nothing is pointing me in the right direction.
It could be a lot of things. What level are you? If you’re low level, it probably won’t work or will at very limited function. I’m assuming you know how to import/keybind so maybe check if blocks are corrupted and import again.
Hi Orb, I am using your Ret ORB_RET_1.1 macro. I changed the default version to 2 (PvE), but when using it, it does not fire off Crusader Strike; the rest seems fine
Panel 1 is Seal of Command. You’ll need to change it to Panel 2 for Crusader I think. I maintain a lot of sequences so I’ll have to login to classic and check.
What panel do you have it configured with? Out of the box I have it set for PVP so it’s going to be seal of command and you’ll never see seal of crusader unless you swap panels.
Bro u are everywhere nice ! so sick of retail, account 1 ran out of time ( has midnight on it ) account 2 is filled with a boatload of lvl 80 but yawn so bored. Gonna try TBC, maybe that gets my interest untill the 27th
