When I PvE I generally tank, and after having a blast with WW, I decided to make a Brewmaster build. Defensives should be manually cast since they’re very situational, like Celestial Brew to enhance your next Purifying Brew usage, but everything else should be working well here. I tanked a lot of dungeons with it and had no issues.
Please let me know how this works for you and any ways that I can improve it.
Mods:
Shift: Spear Hand Strike
LALT: Spinning Crane Kick
CTRL: In Auto: Leg Sweep // In Semi-Auto: Ox summon
Version 1.3 (Defaulted to Panel 2 Mainly-Auto)
Panel 2 will handle most of your cooldowns and one of your defensive since it’s up so often. It’ll cast Celestial Brew on CD. If you do not want that, then pick panel 3.
I believe I got it working well, but if I missed anything please let me know. Spinning Crane Kick felt like it added no value so I left it as a modifier only. I did not include Chi Burst, but please let me know if that’s a crucial item and I’ll make it work. It just feels odd hard casting anything as a tank.
Raidbots won’t work with WW or Brewmaster, so I am sort of eye balling it.
Yeah Spinning Crane isn’t worth the energy usage to press it. far better using the energy on Keg Smash and Tiger Palm. I know Chi Burst is “meta” but using your words, I wouldn’t be seen hard casting as a tank lol, I talented into Chi Wave as its passive. I know i’d never press Chi Burst.
Thank you, I think people will be able to do very high keys with this, just like with my prop warrior macro. I think I got all the timing as good as it’s going to get but let me know if you need any tweaks please.
I added a one second delay after the first Purifying brew so you don’t accidentally spend both by holding LALT. Please let me know if it need any tweaks.
Made a QOL change. Celestial brew is up every 20-30 seconds during combat, so I just have it auto cast on panel 2. If you want to leave this manual, use panel 3.
