Orbalisk's - Troll Slayer for Mythic+/Raid and PvP v. 3.5 (Updated 05/25/26)

Ok, i gotta ask

Why are your sequences named Ziost?

I was like - de f i use orba - who the hell is ziost?

I usually name them after the character I play on so I can quickly get to specific ones.

Ziost is my pvp warrior.

I’ve seen a few people mention that they’re unable to see Thunderclap being cast during the sequence. I just want to clarify that it is actually enabled within the sequence itself. What’s most likely happening, because it happened to me as well back when these sequences were still in the 1.0 series, is that a setting in GSE needs to be adjusted for everything to trigger correctly.

Open up your GSE add-on and go to Options, then scroll down to the Troubleshooting tab. Under that section, you’ll find a setting called Button Settings with an option labeled Use Multi-Click Buttons. Make sure that option is enabled. Once you turn that on, the sequence should execute all of the intended abilities properly, including Thunderclap and Thunderblast. After enabling it, you should notice that the full sequence of attacks starts firing as expected.

Warrior

  • Piercing Howl’s cooldown increased to 90 seconds (was 30 seconds), and ally speed buff radius reduced to 6 yards (12 with Battlefield Commander).

    • Developers’ notes: Piercing Howl has been available more frequently than intended and does not align with other similar effects, so we’re making changes to bring this ability in line while keeping it distinct among similar effects.
  • Arms

    • Master of Warfare’s final rank Heroic Strike now increases the damage you deal to enemies affected by your next Colossus Smash by an additional 3%. Stacks up to 5 times.

    • All damage dealt increased by 15%.

  • Fury

    • All damage dealt increased by 10%.

    • Slayer: chance for Reap the Storm to trigger changed to 20% (was 30%).

Makes total sense  - love your macro’s - i use them for almost all my classes

So I started gearing out for PVP on my Warrior and the sequence is really working well, I’m absolutely destroying people even in PvE gear. I was the top DPS on my ashran.

are you playing mountain thane or slayer in pvp?

I’m playing mountain Thane because the wow client is having interpretation issues with whirlwind in cast sequences very similar to how it’s having issues with festering strike on unholy death night, it’s not reading the cast sequences properly and so it either ends up only casting whirlwind or it’ll stop after bloodthirst and it’s nothing I can fix because even a normal macro it will not cycle.

So basically if you’re going to use Slayer, the single target works fine cuz there’s no whirlwind required but mountain thane outperforms slayer in all content so just use that.

I’m having a really hard time deciding what to main for battleground blitz, this or ret paladin. Both are feeling really good.

There is no Thunder Clap at all, not once. And it that was about 2 mins. But I just made sure the troubleshooting was ticked same as your pic. And doesnt fire. Im using 3.1version
Oh i just checked inside sequence, there is no Thunder Clap in the sequence

Hey are you seeing thunderclap go off? on the AOE sequence?

Its not in version 3.1 Are we supposed to be using version 2.6? Thunder Clap not in 2.6 either.

ST has it just no the AOE seq. when it prots i just hit the ST to get to go off

Im guessing you are using Mountain Thane or you didnt read the topic.

And if you do, you didnt read the topic.

You didn’t read the post.

You only need to bind ST for mountain thane. It’ll handle both ST and AoE.

I haven’t read the replies yet because I already know what they are going to say. The moment I saw your combat log, I knew you were using the AoE sequence, not the single-target one. I can tell because you haven’t read the initial first post where Orb actually states that if you are going to use the Thane build, which is the recommended one at the moment, you need to use the single-target sequence. That one contains everything you need for both single-target and AoE.

Slayer, which is the AoE sequence in this setup, is not up to scratch in terms of damage. So there we go. Now I’ll read the responses to this, and I bet they are all going to say you’re using the AoE sequence.

I imported the rotation, set up my Razer Naga v2 like you have in the screenshot on 10ms, and just by holding down the button, I tested 2.30m on 5 manikins, and the priority is very strange. I don’t see Rampage in the first place like other players. I have the same 240 talents and equipment, but the rotation is different. I noticed that I have 100 Rage, and during the burst, it barely uses up to 0-20. Where is the error?

Got it I was just loosing my mind as the import had both. it was super late last night and the Sequence has both so I thought i had misunderstood how to use it properly (and I did) lol). Sorry not sure why it wasn’t clicking last knight

Do you have the multi-click option enabled in the GSE settings?

If you’re talking about these settings, yes, they were enabled by default. I haven’t changed anything here. And here are my naga settings
