Orbalisk's - Troll Slayer for Mythic+/Raid and PvP v. 3.5 (Updated 05/25/26)

If people have issues that are not sequence related, they need to definitely research it on their own.

and yes, there is a tuning outside GSE that nobody tell, and now macro works as should. i figure out myself after a lot of try.

First of all, thank you.
In my experience versione 3.2 worked great.
Version 3.4 have some problems with Thunder Clap ‘cause of this string in action 2:

/cast [known: Thunder Blast] Thunder Clap; [noknown: Thunder Blast] Slam

My game is set in other language than english so [known: Thunder Blast] and [noknown: Thunder Blast] aren’t recognized. I just put the spellID instead “Thunder Blast” in GSE in game:

/cast [known: 435607] Thunder Clap; [noknown: 435607] Slam

In ST the DPS of my warrior skyrocket to 90/100K. After a while it can barely reach 45/49K sustain DPS even after re-popping Avatar and Recklessness after CD. Maybe is my fault. Maybe i need to reset in somehow the initial state of the macro before popping all CD.
OR simply I don’t understand the class :joy:

Sadly these numbers mean nothing if we don’t know your iLvl and your sim values. The initial burst will always be higher and stagger after a while, that’s why it’s rounded into the number that the term DPS determines. You can also check the DPS meter on how many spells were used while testing and your sim would tell you how many of each SHOULD be cast. Use that as a guideline to seek for error

Going to be interesting to see what happens next week, especially with slayer getting a lot of attention from what I’ve been told.

Fury

  • Hack and Slash has been redesigned – Rampage has 100% chance to refund a charge of Raging Blow.

  • Improved Whirlwind now causes Whirlwind to apply Rend to all targets if Rend is known.

  • Mountain Thane

    • Storm Surge causes Avatar to increase the damage of Thunder Clap by 10% (was 50%) and reduce its cooldown by 25% (was 50%).

Storm surge nerf /cry :frowning: back to spamming whirlwind it seems to

what is the issue currently with using slayer on gse?

I haven’t messed with it in the past few weeks. But the client was giving me an issue with whirlwind in castsequence. I’ll look at it this week when I have time.

Rumour has it that the thunderclap nerf that was done in the PTR has been reverted and may not go live.

If this is true, then it means Fury Thane is still the go too.

Will 200 world ms mess with the sequence? I got a 60 parse on vorasius using this sequence and it seems my fury capped a lot and didn’t use rampage as much. thanks in advance

yes it will 200 ms is a lot. Try using exit lag or something, or google how to minimize your ms. A normal ms is about 15-20. 200 will deffo make it skip.

Somthing has changed, as I’m doing a lot less dmg than before:

The last test I did:

I’ll run it again to see if the numbers are the same, but I was confused as to why my fury AoE was in the 170k area xD

Ummm, @Orbalisk you may want to look into the manual settings for the 3.4. Something is firing off or something. As I just did another test in full auto mode and the numbers were far higher xD

Auto:

Manual (just popping avatar/recklessness & Odyn’s Fury)

I’ll look at it when I have a chance but I’m extremely busy with personal and work stuff right now.

I don’t know, I could be doing something wrong, because just looking at everything, there was definitely something different. You can see there is a 30k difference in damage. I was firing off skills the moment they came off cooldown.

So either I got extremely unlucky with crits not proccing, or when I switch over to the automatic one, crits are going off left, right, and centre.

Once I have messed around with the new stuff that was released today, I will go back to the training dummies and try again with the manual setup. I was looking at it and thinking this is far lower than I expected, so I will take another look.

3.2 ST for me still works good, and i had a death on there

I’m going to start pushing for rated battlegrounds on Fury shortly. Probably next week after I do some crate farming when I have some free time. I’m going to spend some time on the single target specifically because of that when I get some time.

Just so everyone knows, I’m working 10 to 14 hour days right now and still have to manage my family stuff. Stuff at work has ramped up significantly and even when I’m home I’m still working. If you don’t see a ton of responses from me or not a lot of updates it’s just because I don’t have the time.

take ur time , blitz is filled with wintraders and boosters, that is IF you manage to get out of the meme-bracket ( 1700+ ) , below its just clowns and people who openly just go afk or play with thunderfury cause its fun. Most dont even have chat open or talk untill it goes wrong. I gave up on it with close to 200 played and still barely 1700 and my max ever was 2200+. So if u have a guild team, gg, if not wait till this slop passes cause i cant remember it being this bad in 21 years. Its so inflated its not even funny

Have to agree with previous poster, 3.2 still works extremely well !

Hi guys! Was busy doing other things in the last 2 weeks and I haven’t time to play. Meanwhile I saw that fury was pretty much nerfed. Is it really that bad as others say? Is arms doing really that much better than fury right now?
