OK, lets get one thing out of the way i do not pve, i only pvp so im looking it from that perspective. when im looking at apex talents, im not impressed, blizz said A. it would be vissually awesome, wich it isnt for most, and B. its not even that good for most classes. Tier sets in pvp compared to pve are heavily nerfed. on TWW set u had 6 and 10 % dmg buff, in pvp it was 1 and 3 % . Theres 12 dps specs that are b tier or lower atm on beta and thats with apex.
Also i only see what i read, and it was posted the 9th, i only saw it yesterday since i was reading up after i asked Orb for a confirmation of his pvp talents as quite a few where off compared to most used by top players on Murlok.io , i never been on the prt nor do i fel the need to do so anymore. From what im reading everywhere nothing is done with feedback so its pointless as it always was. Yeah, the ui, thank god, but the rest, zero!
Blizzard uses us to test and then monitors the forums and other socials for reactions. So we pay for this game, and on retail we are nothing more but testers of a more then unfinished release. Top pvp ers gave weeks if not months worth of feedback and they did nothing with it. Instead they hit it with another nerf all over the place, and those top players spend 100’s of hours on the ptr., and are voicing they’re concerns on YouTube and twitch for the upcoming season.
So blizzard messed up again, horrible pre patch content ( fixed now but clueless that it was implemented in the first place ) , i bet when midnight hits, the season starts, and on the way blizzard starts to release hot-fixes. Those fixes will contain elements that have been pointed out WEEKS ago on the ptr / forum / socials so the basis never should have hit live in the first place ( i mean if u dont trust or take feedback from top pvpers seriously what are u doing ) . But those hot-fixes will be to late, as the season progresses its harder and harder to get back into the rankings where most imbalanced specs have settled with 50 wins by then.
Its like the case of the fireman setting fire to areas so they have something to fight and come out as a hero, that is what blizz does, it makes 0 sense and is disgusting. Midnight hits in a few weeks and it is clear they are half-assing theyre way to it.
Atm close to no one in pvp according to murlok.io but i guess u saw that. Not in arena or in rbg/ blitz. I do think theres a use for it in pve.
When i let super grok search for like 3 min i get this :
No, the Pestilence talent is not used in WoW Midnight PvP at level 90.
Top Unholy Death Knight PvP builds (e.g., from Icy Veins pre-patch guides) prioritize either a Pet Build (max pet/ST damage) or Disease Build (rot pressure), both of which take Outbreak at level 11 in the spec tree instead of Pestilence. Pestilence—a capstone that upgrades Outbreak to consume 100% of nearby Plagues for 150% instant damage + a Putrefy charge—is not recommended or present in these builds, as PvP favors pet uptime, burst, and sustained pressure over AoE plague dumps. Live data from sites like Murlok.io (top 3v3/2v2/RBG) aligns, showing Outbreak dominance; no high-rated players run Pestilence.
Yes, Pestilence is heavily used (near 100% in top parses) in PvE at level 90.
It’s the core of the meta San’layn Pestilence build for raids (ST/cleave), Mythic+, and Delves—extending diseases via San’layn heroes before consuming for massive throughput. Wowhead/Icy Veins/Method/Maxroll all recommend it as the primary option; Rider builds swap it for pure AoE but still see <10% usage. Example export (San’layn Raid/M+): CwPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwMjZMDDz2MzMTDzMGzYAAAAAAAAwgZGAsMjxsNzMmxMGYghFNAwyEbAYGAzMzMjBmZwwMA

For AoE, about 94% to sim. That’s really good. Please let me know how 2.3 works for you. The DPS meter is terrible by the way. Terrible and wildly inaccurate. It put initial burst at 10k, then jumped it to 80k, then to 40 and then 30k… No idea how this made it to live.
Because having fobidden to everything around CLEU is tightly closed, the only way they have to “measure” as close as they can, is having to storage ( or more like live running ) 1st average combat log and then calculate the dps around that
testing atm, bu t i see raise dead is not in the macro, and wasnt in 2.0 onward, but i think it was in there earlier ? is there a way to add this without breaking the macro?
Also army of the dead is still going weird, sometimes it pops at start, sometimes it doesnt, and when it pops, it takes 30 + globals after being ready to re pop.
I get a lot of “ item is not ready yet “ spam. But that might be cause you set it to use 14, wich would be a dps trink on use, but most in pvp use a dps trinket on proc. So ill remove that and try again.
When i pop raise dead before i start army seems to pop more frequently.
edit : removing / use 14 and the firework and flag of O did not change it. I know i can suppress that message but it still means something bugs or is it only a cooldown?
edit 2: i see the update only reflects m+ and raid. So u made no changes to PvP tab? As Aoe hangs sometimes for 8 secs and then casts 5 epidemic in a row
Give me a few moments and I’ll post an update. I think I found a way to make sure the big CDs fire off without being starved and I added the pet block back in.
i have leatrix and i have some lua code macros that suppress as well, my point is, if something is bugging and if it happens a lot it will trigger the “ your addons are exp problems “ spam in your ui while you are in a bg, raid , arena , mythic, w/e. so its not always good to suppress if the cause is unknown.
