# Pet not attacking

Does anyone know why pets sometimes just run back and forward between hunter and adds ? Never seems to be a problem with just 1 target but in mythic+ pet doesn’t seem to be able to make his mind up sometimes. Mobs are still alive and I am attacking them but pet keeps trying to come back to me ☹

unbind hotkeys everything with shift alt and ctrl and recall pet hotkey

If your pet is set to passive it will do that. So until it receives an attack command again it will run back.

Add /petattack to a macro or button you use a lot, and/or set pet to assist.

just add /petrassist to your keypress area and that will fix it, so if its on passive when you start the maco it will swap to assist from passive, i also got a get back here macro for stupid pets
