Yea, first post should be updated.
Just wanted to let you know that I am using your macro and it works really good. No lock-ups or anything similar. I picked up an old pally lvl 85 and just been doing dungeons for gear/exp, he is lvl 92 now. Tanks again for it.
First time poster trying hard to figure this out. I can get the macro to build correct in game and work if i physically click the button myself but i was under the impression i should be able to click it once and it should automatically cycle through the abilities within the sequence. This doesn’t happen for me and was wondering if anyone has seen anything to cause this issue. I have installed Gnome Sequencer changed the Lua file name and disabled macro toolkit to ensure it didn’t interfere. Any ideas??
Lightbender:
gnomesequencer does not do that. (1 click and it just runs) You can do that via hardware macros (really it is software that comes with your gaming mouse/keyboard. Windows also includes a tool that can do this.)
Be advised: click and hold or 1 click where it runs through a cycle until you stop it IS against the eula However: blizzard put this in to help stop botters, and do not seem to really care if you use “hardware macros” in this way. Eithir that can not detect it, or they just do not care enough. I have not heard of anyone getting banned for using hardware macros. Blizzard is usually okay with it if: you are sitting there the whole time doing constant input on your char.
^^ is probably why gnomesequencer does not have the feature to just “run” after 1 click.
I personally toe a little bit more on the correct side of the eula and bind the macro to my scroll wheel. And I have a mouse wheel that lets me free spin it which adds up to a VERY fast spam of the macro. With this setup I and healme’s latest macro I consistently rank top 60+ in the world on askmrrobot logs for prot paly dps on normal high maul bosses, and have even ranked in top 100 on heroic high maul fights for heals required for a prot paladin. (I do switch over to the tank stance/self heal stance against healme’s suggestion for the harder hitting bosses)
Last time I did tectus normal I averaged 27k dps (as a prot paladin!) with this macro with my setup. (669 ilvl)

I am new to playing a paladin and just reactivated my WOW account after about 6 years yesterday. I boosted a lvl 90 protection pally yesterday and I have been looking for a macro just like this to help with my DPS and tanking. I think it’s great that you took the time todo this. My only question is; do I just copy and past what you have into the game macro system or do I need to download any adding and other programs to set this up? Thank you in advance for your help, it is much appreciated.
I’m on my mobile right now at work. Sorry for any mis types or spelling errors. I will be checking through out the day till I can get home. Thanks again.
So, I’m really new to this (Actually this is my first time ever messing with more that the in-game macro menu), but after an hour or so of learning I got everything to work perfectly! Great rotation, performs just as well is I can by running my rotation manually, though occasionally some input is still required (No problem!). I do still run my pally manually when I’m in mythic raids, but that’s just me. Overall its rather nice to just sit back and relax while my pally just does his thing.
hello
first - thanks alot op for doing this
second - i’m a total noob - do i just have to copy pasterino this in a new macro box, keybind it and then spam it all the way? is this macro keeping seraphim up all the time if its available? what are hardware macros?
thx in advance
edit:
you still use your big cooldowns manually - amiright?
Thank to Healme for this macro I just tweaked a little auto stance dance

have a go and see what you think
same Talent’s and same Glyphs as healme on page 1
i just finished imp on lfr and only had a 50% sacred shield uptime
also only 26% for SotR
what can i fix to improve these numbers?
For some reason this macro/build doesn’t work for me, tried it in raid and DGs and i keep dieing very easy even using all CDs…
Did this one myself using several ideas from here and keep me alive and kicking but whit low DPS…
Any change for better is very welcome … Ty
What is your ilvl? And what type of mitigation are you gearing for? I personally run this macro in dungeons and have no issue staying alive, even on my horde Pally who’s ilvl is only 620. All I can think is make sure you’re using Seal of Insight, and that your talents/glyphs are correct. Also, make sure you’re running the “Prot” sequence, not the “Sera” sequence.
Every macro i try and use just makes my toon spam the keybind into the chat…no my chat isnt highlighted

Hello all,
First post here, so please take it easy on me.
Been using the GnomeSequence macro thats on the first post for some time now. My Ilvl is 665 and for some reason my single target dps is terrible, only about 18-22k. My AOE dps is crazy, 40-80k at points. Just confused why my single target dps isn’t keeping up with other players around my same Ilvl. My gear is built for Seraphim and is built properly according to AskMrRobot.
Also, is there any way to reset the macro before fights. That may be a reason why my single target dps during heroic dungeons may be affected, as in Seraphim doesnt get thrown into the rotation until after SoR gets thrown in a few times depending on where the macro left off.
Thanks for the help.
I’ve been using your macro for a while and I’ve noticed that after about an hour-hour and a half of raiding I’ll get a lag spike then the macro will lock. The only way to get it running again is a /reload. Other GS macros will still run though.
So I was digging around and found this fellows system for creating your own step sequences in GS.
And it seems to work very well with zero lock ups. Now I’m just tweaking the rotation. Since we are living in progression, I’m running a Holy Shield build for survival. I would be curious to see what anyone else is running to plug them into this customized rotation.

Hi there, can you post the macro which you use now?
I am so new I don’t know how to code properly, maybe in a month or two.
Regards
Hi mate, I use a program called auto keyboard, not coz I’m lazy, but due to arthritis in my hands, I cannot click continuously, so I click once to start it & again to stop it. Hope that help a bit.
Brilliant macro. Has helped me a great deal. A couple questions though.
What glyphs are you using now in 6.1? Alabaster Shield and Holy Wrath are both gone for Prot Pallys.
Are you still using Holy Prism. I can’t see it in the OP, but you talk about changing to it (from Execution Sentence) in a subsequent post. Also, how does the @player modifier work?
Are you in Seraphim or Holy Shield for the level 100 talent?
Thanks in advance for your response HealMe
