Actually works quite nicely on the Dummy. You should put Phantom Singularity also on CTRL mod, most likely would perform better on dps meters. Kinda makes me want to make my macros into a one button version with modifiers too. For questing and farming it is close to perfect.

@nagzi “Phantom Singularity also on CTRL mod,”

So your saying only use this when I’m dumbing Malefic Rapture then?

OR should it fire off when Dumping Melefic Rapture and/or Seed of Corruption if its up?

You want to dump your Malefic Rapture while PS + Soul Rot is up on the mob. There are two possibilities how to use it. Both cases you want them the closest to each other. The more dots on the mob the bigger your MR hits.

  1. Use PS, couple MR, use SR, rest of your MR.
  2. Wait for SR cd and use it together with PS, after that spam MR.

For your macro I would either put PS on ctrl mod and SR on nomod or use both on ctrl mod.

Also I would recommend to put this line into Keypress as the very first line:
/cast [nochanneling] reset=target Agony, null

For AoE, you want Seed > Agony > UA on main target, then with this line just tab to new targets and put Agony on the rest, then PS and MR on main target. Same with VT just instead of PS (as it is in your macro now).

Actually it would be quite easy to write a seperate macro for AoE. Maybe tomorrow gonna check it out.

OK I’ll adjust PS so its controlled more and fires off the same as Soul Rot.

I can add the Agony in on a Null and move it down the chain a bit so its not firing off on the regular chain until its at least used a bit of the first Application from the null cast.

Thank you - I dont play a Warlock Much

Hi Larry. Is there anyway to improve the macro for mythics/raids by having one that uses CDs and one that doesnt. It sucks to have your CDs randomly blown right before an encounter.

@Whoo

Yes when I adjust it I can:

Please name the CD’s you are looking to save if you would so I have a clear picture how to adjust a v2 for Mythic’s and Raids and move the current v2 to v3 if your soloing and need a tank pet

You mean adding these to to the mod:ctrl and mod:shift so when you dumping MR and SofC they go off?

Dark Soul: Misery
Summon Darkglare

Yea. I would like for Darkglare and Misery to be activated by a modifier, or worst case scenario have to be a separate bind. But I have no idea how to make this edit myself. I tried before making an account and messaging you.

@Whoo

I can set them to go off with a simple mod:crtl and mod:shift

OF I can set it to go off with a combo of mod:ctrl+mod:alt and mod:shift+mod:alt

with the double mod you have to be holding down the first mod and then press the second mod to fire it. So basically you would be dumping your MR or SofC and decide to first off those 2 CD’s and hit the alt in addition to first them off.

UPDATED 1/5/2021

  1. Adjusted Agony on new target cast and in cast sequence placement
  2. FIXED Shadow Bolt Spam problem. Macro now works with any of the Level 15 talents
  3. Adjusted Phantom Singularity to fire off with mod:ctrl and mod:shift instead of on CD

Created a v3 for Mythic’s and Raids where CD’s are saved:

  • v3: Dark Soul: Misery(if talented) and Summon Darkglare CD’s on mod:crtl+mod:alt and/or mod:shift+mod:alt)
    • Push ctrl+alt or shift+alt to fire off CD’s on v3
      • Choose what version(s) you want to use in the drop downs and HIT SAVE

PLEASE DELETE OLD MACRO and RE-IMPORT

Enjoy

Any button can be a modifier?

@nagzi alt / ctrl /shift can be modifiers, you can set nomod on lines you don’t want to fire when holding/pressing a mod key in the conditions like nochanneling or combat.

On this macro basically

v1,v2
ctrl = MR single target dump + (SR,PR/VT), CD’s of DS and SD are cast on CD
shift = SC aoe dump + (SR,PR/VT), CD’s of DS and SD are cast on CD

v3
ctrl = MR single target dump + (SR,PR/VT)
shift = SC aoe dump + (SR,PR/VT)
CD’s of DS and SD cast on either ctrl+alt or shift+alt (hold/press first mod then press second mod while holding/pressing first).

Enjoy!

I believe your macro works well, especially in solo content. More than well, I will use it absoloutly. It is just an issue with the spec that not really possible to write a one button macro for other content.

Yesterday I gave it a try on raid. On bosses without too much movement or mechanics, I had parses around 70 or close to it, however on more complex fights it is around 30 or lower. Today I will create an AoE macro and share it here, because I think it is possible to do, actually easily.

Single target seems to be gambling for Affliction, sometimes the dot drops off, or you have to move and it really mess up the rotation. v1, v2 will use DS and SD randomly losing a lot of dps, so v3 should be used if anybody wants to use this macro for higher content.

Still your macro is the best so far for Affliction, really good job.

Can we make the macro that it shoots Seed of Corruption and Unstable Affliction once?

Could not manage it.

AoE Rotation (3+ targets)

SoC > UA > Agony on 3+ targets > PS+SR > MR dump if the fight longer refresh UA+SoC and reapply Agony

This macro:

  1. Holding down CTRL applies UA+SoC
  2. Switch targets applies Agony
  3. Holding down SHIFT applies PS+SR and dumps MR
  4. Nomodifier will cast Drain Soul (maybe this line can be deleted, not sure)

I was thinking about something like that.

@nagzi I’ll revisit the macro this weekend to try to tweek it some.

Unstable Affliction already goes off once and resets on target/combat. Is there a reason you only want 1 Seed of Corruption? I thought it stacked

Are you wanting to create an separate AOE version? Much like my BM Macros? I can do that without a problem but it will be this weekend before I will have time to work it out.

Please link your parse so I can replay the fight then I will put it into wowanalyzer to see what it recommend to do more or less of.

Thank you!

hello scary… can i be little forward and ask for a favour. can u give the code or make a simple macro for me. as whart u got there is too complicated for me. sorry to say.

all i want to do is pvp and some pve.

  1. All i need is to press or spam 1 key. i want 4 to 5 dots in the macro. rest i will do myself. aka use other keys.
i do not know how to make the macro. i press TAB for new target so i can spam dots on that dude or mob.
/cast sequense target=rest spell 1 spell 2 spell 3… will this work in wow /macro… do i need gse?

please advcise as in next few hours i can restore my affil warlock and i want it badly.

@Ali_Asghar

Version 1 or 2 will work for this I think it basically does everything just spam it

  • Hold alt for Howling Terror/Drain Life
  • Hold ctrl for Malefic Rapture Dump (single targets)
  • Hold shift for Seed of Corruption (AOE)
  • Cooldowns are blown on CD’s in these versions

Code is in the macro pick it apart if you wish. I haven’t put any PvP skills into the macro as of the update.

If that’s to much for ya you can try Lutechi AIO Macro. Its literally designed to run everything all in a one button macro. I used it to level and it worked just fine.

Enjoy!

Testing the new version now and getting lots of UI errors and chat messages about unknown macro options. I wasn’t having any issues with the previous version and looking for answers about what might be causing this now. Perhaps an addon might be causing it? Any ideas?
